Ahhh...yes. I forgot about that strategy. LolI think you're scoring id correct
I thought they same after reading @RoarLions1 ,157 bonus, then I thought maybe he was hedging between a 0.0 and a 1.0, so I didn't comment.

You are right-on with your understanding of bonus point scoring. In the game of KYPSW, however, one can play the odds and pick .5 points. That way, if a wrestler scores 0 or 1 bonus point, a pick of .5 gets the same couple of points. Tbh, it's peanuts on the bonus point side of things. In this case, I couldn't decide, so I split the difference.I see roar has a .5 in bonus for someone. I think I may have the bonus scoring incorrect. I thought it was 1 for major. 1.5 tf and 2 fall?? And same on backside??
Any other data or strategy tips you'd like to ask your fellow contestants about? 🤣I see roar has a .5 in bonus for someone. I think I may have the bonus scoring incorrect. I thought it was 1 for major. 1.5 tf and 2 fall?? And same on backside??
Yeah but think I'll ask the 3 people that finished in front of me during the regular season. LmaoAny other data or strategy tips you'd like to ask your fellow contestants about? 🤣
I will DM you my address so you can mail me my bronze medal. 😂😂Here are the B1G results, sort of. These are the results, without Wrestlestat. As the players on the Rivals board know, Iowa guest, @jmadden1998, ran the whole tournament through Wrestlestat. I took those results, as if Wrestlestat had played KYPSW B1G with us. And, you'll never guess what. Wrestlestat would have taken home the bronze medal, finishing third.
Perennial Wrestlestat hater, @Psugo823, on the other hand, finished 41st.
So, without WS being involved, @nerfstate finishes atop the podium for B1G. @johnstownsteel, with lots of aid from his fellow competitors, finishes in the second spot, @GogglesPaizano takes home the bronze.
Congrats, all!
Did diceman make picks? I don't see his name. Here are the B1G results, sort of. These are the results, without Wrestlestat. I wrestled like crap and not even close to seed...I had no neutral offense and didn't get to my angles at all. Here are the B1G results, sort of. These are the results, without Wrestlestat. Yeah, the total for picks should always be divisible by 5. I found the error, which gives you 265 for picks, and 19 for bonus, for a total of 284. That puts you in 27th. Sorry about that.@pawrestlersintn I don't understand my 242 when I calculate 265.
Can a brother get a recount?

Last edited Wednesday. I noted a typo in my original that @johnstownsteel pointed out.
As always, thx a ton for doing this @pawrestlersintn! It adds an extra bit of fun to the tourneys to see how wrong some of my guesses are. Here are the B1G results, sort of. I've never noticed that wording for 4 before. There is no rounding, so you get four if you guess the bonus points scored exactly. It was likely written that way to let you know your guesses can/should be made in half point increments. As always, thx a ton for doing this @pawrestlersintn! Once again I'm an "also ran." I count an extra couple bonus points for my picks than you, but I'm sure you're right. I can never seem to wrap my mind around the difference between the 4 and 3 point criteria since 4 says "to the nearest half-point" but 3 says "a prediction that is off by 0.5 points."
Just when you show a glimmer of self-deprecating humor, you go and f#^k it up. You must be a hoot at a party.I wrestled like crap and not even close to seed...I had no neutral offense and didn't get to my angles at all.
Just like Facundo on Saturday.
