Oh, I'm definitely yukking it up. I may be coming home in a couple of weeks to PA!For those fans of other teams yukking it up about Max, it’ll be great fun to read those same posters come mid-March as Max is wrestling deep into the tournament

Yep had the names mixed up. Don't worry the area misses you as well .something about this place that grabs ahold of a man God's country has never been more rightVenture Inn is on the right going up to Little Pine. The Pine Creek Inn is on the left just before Waterville.
I just painted up there this year. Friend of mine owns it now. Great place all the way around. Back patio bar area was a great addition to the placeWe raced snowmobiles at Black Forrest Inn. Good thing my mom didn’t know about it.
They put a beautiful addition to the left of the bar nowWalk into Venture, seating on the right, small bar to the left. Claim to fame, fried chicken.
Coudersport pike above lock haven. Mountain top pat Reeder's fin fur and feather then black Forrest. Fin fur and pat Reeder's are pretty run down. Mountain top and black Forrest great foodYou're talking, Lock Haven?
I don't have the proper words, but when I go home, I'm in heaven. It's obviously, a Pee Aye thing, but it matters. It's in the blood of folks that grew up there. It's walking into the woods of a Fall morning. The first cast in Spring. The smell of Pennsylvania.Yep had the names mixed up. I know many couldn't wait to leave, but that was never me. I just left for the Rockies. And my leaving was a huge mistake, no matter my successes and life.
The smell of Pennsylvania certainly depends on where in the state.I don't have the proper words, but when I go home, I'm in heaven. It's obviously, a Pee Aye thing, but it matters. Well, I grew up in a better area, along the Sock and Pine crick. That said, my kin are from Hagerstown, MD. My father, born in 1912, drove mule teams along the canals as a young fellow. When he would take me down home to Maryland, we always went to the tannery he drove skin's to. It was God awful. The smell of Pennsylvania certainly depends on where in the state.
At my Dad's house outside of town in D4, yes, what you said.
Where I work now, it's the smell of the Delaware River downstream of Philly. Ugh.
True story: there's a brownie factory near my workplace, so it can occasionally smell pleasant. Some idiot at work lodged a formal complaint about having to breathe brownie factory exhaust -- because the Delaware River stench is so much healthier. Jackass.

Issues become subscriptions.Give her a break she's just moderating the game lmfao
Every man that has a girlfriend or wife has issues
What part of the Rockies, Hotshoe? I'm as far east as you can be and still be Idaho. Base of the Grand Teton range.I don't have the proper words, but when I go home, I'm in heaven. My Dad still lives in Coudersport. I love going up for visits. Closest decent "big" town is Olean. Spent many weekends there - cause you know the 18yr drinking age In NY.Lol. I’ve spent more than half my life going to hunting (and snowmobile) camp in Potter and (later) Tioga counties. It was listening to Penn State on (I think Williamsport) radio that I really fell in love with Penn State. If you know the song, we drank, played cards and shot the Bull while listening to Penn State football. For the bigger games, we’d drive into Germania and catch the game at the Waldheim. (That mean anything to you?)
Love it up there. But My dad sold the camp and my uncle moved south when they got old. Been about 5-6 years since I’ve been up that way. I’d like to hike the Rim Trail and the Black Forrest Trail, though. Bought the guides to plan the hike. Just haven’t done it yet.
Get to Cherry Springs some weekend. The sky is amazing at night.Lol. I’ve spent more than half my life going to hunting (and snowmobile) camp in Potter and (later) Tioga counties. Hey hun, I just had a guy named HotShoe call me beautiful on this internet thing. The beauty of this board is its posters. They self moderate.
Interesting to hear another POV.In this one instance I have to side with women. Once! Ed knew one if my son's roommates. He was down at their apartment several times. That girlfriend kept him in line as much as one could. In my book she helped him to be a three timer.
Now about my wife.........
Arizona. What part of the Rockies, Hotshoe? I'm as far east as you can be and still be Idaho. Base of the Grand Teton range.
My mom was born and raised in Montoursville. My Grandfather actually trapped for pelts along the Sock as a young man. I went to 1st & 2nd grade there too. Was born in the western slope of the Rockies myself—Colorado. From Montoursville. Lived on the Sock and Pine Crick!

There is a quality of the air to both places that mean an awful lot to me.
Come on CS, if you’re going to apologize don’t make it half hearted. If you need to include the words apparently and probably while apologizing, is it really sincere?Look, I will apologize and admit when I am out of line. Which I apparently was here.
I didn’t not mean it as a personal critique of Max. Merely that relative to his abilities I thought he looked far below his best. I’d bet if you’d ask him he’d agree. But the phrasing probably could have been better and for that I apologize.
Generally speaking, I'm not a fan of commentary that is negative to a competitor, who just lost, because it can be seen as demeaning to both competitors, as it also takes away from the victor's accomplishment.commentary
Kind of like smelling skunk going past Jersey Shore anymore with the marijuana factory. They are growing some really good shit in there based on the smell..not that I know anything about marijuana just saying lolThe smell of Pennsylvania certainly depends on where in the state.

I've been inside of the Terrapin building that grows it. Pretty powerful smell. Reminds me of my youth. 🙂Kind of like smelling skunk going past Jersey Shore anymore with the marijuana factory. I've been to Mountain Top once, and had great food. Can't believe you guys are talking about holes- in- the- wall and Wagon Wheel hasn't come up.Coudersport pike above lock haven. This might explain their uniforms.I've been inside of the Terrapin building that grows it. Pretty powerful smell. Reminds me of my youth. 🙂
Wagon wheel? Where the hell is that? I've been in lock haven for a while never heard of the wagon wheel. I heard of the mangy moose and that burned down.I've been to Mountain Top once, and had great food. Can't believe you guys are talking about holes- in- the- wall and Wagon Wheel hasn't come up.
Its on Rt 414 near Cammal. Between Waterville and Slate Run.Wagon wheel? Where the hell is that? I've been in lock haven for a while never heard of the wagon wheel. I heard of the mangy moose and that burned down.
If you've been to MD you know its residents plaster that flag on anything and everything. This might explain their uniforms.

Better bring plenty of warm clothes. Last 2 years were terribly cold on opening day in Potter County. Had more clothes on than in deer season. I was shaking so bad at one point my wooly bugger probably looked like it was having a seizure. My guides and reel all froze as well. Will do. It will be in April. I am never missing another trout season again.
I agree. Well worth the trip. It's one of the best places in the world for star watching.Get to Cherry Springs some weekend. The sky is amazing at night.
Some of us here still build the occasional custom fly rod …You’ll have to teach me to fly fish (I’m more of a Susquehanna River bass fisherman and even that is highly questionable), but keep me posted on you trip back home.
Used to go all the time as a kid. Yeah, it's definitely God's country lol...close to Coudersport, which of course is close to nothing.I agree. Well worth the trip. It's one of the best places in the world for star watching.
Ohhhh. Further east than coudersport pikeIts on Rt 414 near Cammal. Between Waterville and Slate Run.

20 years ago I went to Coudersport for an Interview with Adelphia, before the "issues".
Loved the sign for Potter County "God's Country"...
