I'll just say it, even if Evans beats Tyler straight up today ... I think Tyler needs to be the guy. I think it's pretty obvious he has a much higher ceiling for NCAA scoring (especially as a true freshman vs a RS JR) as much as I love Evans' grit.

Yes. That NCAA PDF link I posted was last edited on Jan. 2, 2024. I wouldn't think they change anything else this late in the season. It doesn't say anything in the entire document about teammates so I believe this match will count.
Since this match is at 149 and that is the weight they are trying to qualify for.....then, yes....this match will count towards their 149 record, win % and RPI
Seems that this tourney and Kasak/Evans drama is getting as much attention as the Maryland slaughter.

Out of the McCort kids, i still hold firm that Jax will be the best.
Jax is the most athletic. Bassett is the most disciplined.
