saw that the Forrest score was actually 8-1 because he got backpoints on the SV takedown (not that it really matters)
Thanks. Fixed it. Flo needs some green & red pinning figures!saw that the Forrest score was actually 8-1 because he got backpoints on the SV takedown (not that it really matters)
On deck Mat 4Barr???
Who?Spencer Lee and Marstellar weren't taking out #1 ranked guys when they were in 10th grade, this is weird.
I’m probably one of the few but I don’t want Bassett
Can someone who knows how, post the “show your way out” GIF for me. TIA.I’m probably one of the few but I don’t want Bassett
Hmm does that settle our 197 he he.197 Finals: #1 Lucas Cochran vs. #15 Martin Cosgrove
P1:
Cochran TD 3-0
Cochran riding tough, goes over 1-min RT
Cochran FALL
#1 Lucas Cochran FALL #15 Martin Cosgrove (2:36)
He definitely seems like a guy that could be done with wrestling by college but I don't know the kid and his personality.I’m probably one of the few but I don’t want Bassett
Cochran reminds me a little of Barraclough. Could he see the lineup next year when Brooks moves on?Cochran FF - Fall - Fall wins 197. Both falls were first period.
For LOTOLion. Lol.I’m probably one of the few but I don’t want Bassett

And I’m still not convinced we’ll get either.Jax is the most athletic. Bassett is the most disciplined.

Searched for "badass in the weeds" gif....... NUTTINThis Evans/Kasak battle is underscoring the next stage of Cael’s program building (helped greatly by the portal and NIL) - true depth at multiple weights. A truly scary reality for other teams.
We’ve always had a badass in the weeds at a weight or so (Brown, Cassar), but now we’re getting to that point at several weights. Just wait until this 2024 class comes on board.
Without such depth, we could be vulnerable in duals but rolled at NCAAs due to the Herculean efforts of our studs.
I agree he just has that something extra. Kid is real confidentOut of the McCort kids, i still hold firm that Jax will be the best.
I definitely think he was way ahead of most kids a few years ago. A lot of kids are catching up especially when he keeps moving up in weightHe definitely seems like a guy that could be done with wrestling by college but I don't know the kid and his personality.
@bnicolls no longer attempting to level the playing field. Reduced to hoping it collapses beneath the weight of all the Penn State studs. This Evans/Kasak battle is underscoring the next stage of Cael’s program building (helped greatly by the portal and NIL) - true depth at multiple weights. they didn’t have the opportunity so we don’t really know.Spencer Lee and Marstellar weren't taking out #1 ranked guys when they were in 10th grade, this is weird.

Yeah I think there needs to be a lot of context to these results.they didn’t have the opportunity so we don’t really know.
it was pretty widely reported that spencer beat dan dennis in a simulation match before the olympics after his junior year.
in 5 years, this might not be that rare, especially if there’s a weight as volatile as 125 where a true freshman who was #75 on willies big board is the #1 guy. this match happens on a high school mat last season, people are talking about how crazy it was that stanich took forrest to OT.
Correct, Mason Gibson beat Stanich out of HS. 125 is just brutally bad so elite high schoolers can compete, people forget Davis wasn’t some can’t miss blue chipper either. I think Bassett is equal to Jax as a prospect but how would he do against Vito? Or Dreshaun Ross against Brooks. Not apples to apples.they didn’t have the opportunity so we don’t really know.

Or Connor Mirasola against Max Dean.
