Match Thread for Wisconsin

Get real folks. They tried to rob us again. Damn these myopic refs in this shizholian conference. Their players weren't nearly as aggressive as ours were. Their guys were trying to get out of the ring to avoid our players aggressiveness.

Get Real. Nicely played.

Thanks for the video Tom

I like what I am seeing from Joe. Just think back to Nick in his freshman year. You could see the elite potential but he needed to tighten things up. Once Joe figures out wrestling from bottom and how to get out with regularity he will be on his way.
He seems to extend himself very confidently. I’m not sure that’s going to work against Marinelli if he goes. Somebody’s going to his back in that one if Lee keeps the pedal down.

Did the Wisconsin wrestler really think he could ride Lee for the win? I can't understand why Bono didn't tell his wrestler to release.

that was somewhat puzzling. He'd seen Lee on his feet, and probably didn't like his chances there. He may have been hoping that he could catch Joe, due to his "inexperience." In that regards, it's somewhat justifiable, though also offered a very low probability of success.

Shades of Deakin against Nolf two years back, except Deakin was getting dinged for stalling as he did it, IIRC.

The video confirms it. Sportsfan is right. CJ is wrong. Now we just wait for CJ to say “I was wrong” and for CJ to not try to lose while he’s behind anymore. I’m sure that’s what CJ will do. :)
I was right....finally. Yippee. I'll need that in writing. Errrr.........nevermind :)

Honestly, Gardner was extremely fortunate they didn't give Scharenbrock two right at the end of regulation. I've seen that given all the time.
