Honestly, I think Nick got a break there. Ref had a poor angle (should have been up near the wrestlers' heads, but was down near their butts trying to look up to the shoulder blades). In any event, it looked to me like inside shoulder was not on mat (which you could kind of see as they unwound).

I had no problem with it. Verk does a lot of tying/blocking without really trying to score. Plus he was backing up at the time IIRC.
