1) Clifford growing up right in front of us to see. The 1 interception was the one pass this whole year where you shake your head.....yesterday in the rain throwing dimes....great game.
2) Freiermuth might have the highest draft grade on the team. Good blocker, great hands, that move that he did to get open on the one on one matchup was a Hamler type move.
3) The young corners did well, #8 Wilson and #2 Ellis are going to be good. Not sure what Gordon was thinking holding the MSU Receiver all over the field.
4) Parsons continues to ball out.....he was everywhere in the first half. Has to catch that INT.
5) Jason Oweh is starting to put it together. 2 sacks last night, both causing fumbles.
6) Matos gets chipped by a RB, TE or double teamed on many of the passing downs. This has slowed him down the past couple of games.
7) #20 Isaac is going to be a star. He is young, fast aggressive, I keep waiting for Shane Simmons but maybe it will be Isaac instead of Shane....
8) The OL continues to play well. We have 7 lineman playing a lot with the 5 starters, and then Miranda gives Thorpe and Gonzo a break and Holmes gives the OTs a break. the announcers do not even mention it as there does not appear to be any drop off.
9) Chisna playing great on special teams....one of these days he will catch the long one.....
10) Are we now worried that our young defense is too good and that we will lose Pry to a headcoaching job? How about Rahne? Always something to worry about.
