Abro literally gave up to Weigel in the third and was tilted at will...frustrating!

Very, & I stress very early in the season...
Not a fluke. Also beat Zavatsky 8-0 last year.

As far as the "zero athleticism" comment goes: how exactly has he gone 3-1 against Dudley?

Need to take a step back, let him heal and strengthen. He'll probably get some competition. Then let the chips fall where they may.

WOW - #2 174 Realbuto loses. Cornell Stud does not get the throw takedown, as time had run out.

Huge for #2 Realbuto to go out of the tourney

He also hurt his knee in his 1st Rd loss - really tough tourney for Realbuto, but I guess karma's a bitch relative to his tournament last year and the Miller match.

Surprise for Bucknell. Down 6-1, #10 Stolfi gets the pin over Cornell Sweaty in the 3rd period.

Although Okla st has 7 in quarters, at least 3 of them are guaranteed to be gone by the finals, only 2 of them likely to get all the way to the finals....still need to wrestle well tomorrow though...At this point, 3 team race, unless Iowa rolls a perfect game tomorrow, then a 4 team race.

Neb is currently 4th, with 20 points. Ahead of #5 IA, who is tied with #5 VT at 17.5

Neb has been wrestling above their seeds.
They still have 10 wrestlers alive in the tourney tomorrow morning.
5 Championship Round
5 Consolation 2

Yeah, I kept hoping McCutcheon would re-emerge. Just wasn't happening.

Quite a contrast to Rutgers, which also sent 10 to the tourney. After Day 1, Rutgers has 5 guys still alive -- 1 in Quarters and 4 in Consolations.

Because Nebraska still has all 10 alive, they are the only team that currently has a higher maximum potential point value than PSU. That assums they get pins in each of their matches, which seems highly unlikely, but something to consider.

Good stuff Tom.

Lambert gets Gilman next.
Montoya gets Clark.
Wilson gets Perrotti.
Dudley gets Brooks.
Studebaker gets Smack.

They could very easily go 0-for-5 in the quarters.

Lambert already lost to Gilman and is in the consolation bracket. The other Nebraska wrestler in the Quarter Finals is Sueflohn vs Sorensen at 149#

Good catch. I messed up trying to piece brackets together ... (and forgetting they're on Flo).

Still wouldn't be surprised if they went 0-for-5.

I agree maybe Sueflohn has a 10% chance and Dudley 30% chance the other three less than 5%.
