I too have you tube tv..... available to me is espn,espn2 and espnu. does espnu offer the option of viewing a single mat? also, on the pinned streaming chart at top of forum, espn+ is not listed as an option to watch any of the championships. any help and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I do t think espnu does. I have to use the espn+ app on my tv for individual mats
Does anybody else think it's a joke that Shapiro is ranked #2 when he only has 12 matches? In 2023 Brooks was ranked 3rd because he only had 12 matches but somehow it's okay for Shapiro. Brooks also beat top-ten guys and was a returning champ but got dinged.
I just saw him shopping at Wegmans. Nothing noticeably impairing his shopping ability! And Wegmans on the weekend is only slightly less intense than the NCAAs
Since when did we move the in person monthly forum meetings from Giant to Wegmans.
You guys Seeing Barr there is a great sign. The boy is still bulking up with Kasak Beef and now Wegmans bakery items to maintain the 197 weight. It looks like T Minus 4 days for Barr.
And if any of you are in line for cheesesteaks and Barr is behind you in line, show some Brotherly Love and let him jump ahead.
To hell with that — make him fight for it and test that leg. We need stronger intel on his condition!

Who are you moving up ahead of Shapiro? And if you do, wouldn’t that also suggest Brooks should have been seeded last among the 1-loss guys, and even below Coleman?

Yea I saw him too! We were both after the same item in the bakery.
In an attempt to test his readiness and procure the last loaf of pumpernickel, I attempted a double leg takedown. He quickly stuffed my attempt, put me in a headlock, grabbed the last loaf, and walked away chuckling.
I’m still slightly bitter about missing out on the pumpernickel, but happy to report Josh appears ready to go! 🤗

Shapiro got the 2 seed because the regular season matters. Everybody else had a chance to prove themselves worthy of it, and failed.
Giving the 2 to anybody seeded below him merely says their regular seasons did not matter. Because none of them distinguished themselves.

Without going too deep because I’m taking a break from cleaning my bathroom, I got Meyer with 2 top 20 wins (both to WS 18 Swisher), 3 overall to NQs. Taylor 7-2 vs NQs and what looks like a handful better wins.
Comes down to, is unbeaten with no real deal-making wins better than wrestling a lot better guys more often even if you take a few losses?
Edit: not when unbeaten, took a MFF.
Shapiro also beat top 20 Ed Scott (currently Flo #12) by stalling him out to a DQ; he was at #10 at the time. Not that it figured into the algorithm (IIRC), but Shapiro's RPI would have been #3 according to WS (he didn't have enough bouts to qualify). So, he had a strong schedule.
Actually Shapiro has seven wins over *six* NQs: Swisher, Harrington (Harvard), Fedalen (Columbia), Saito (Brown), Conway (Mizzou), and Scott (NC State).
That was the yeast of his problems!
Tyler and Shapiro are the top 2 , Shapiro is the only one I worry about and what do you want to do drop Shapiro down to 5 so we see him in the semi's . Rather see him in the finals
Do think Iowa has an extra leg brace laying around that Josh could use? 😂😂
Was he loading up with bakery items or rice cakes? That would give us even more insight.
