Cael always gives his boys a lot of work to do January on thru to March. It's why so many of them become AAs and Champions silly. And sign on your 165, 157, 141, and 149. They’ve got a lot of work to do and time will tell.
We’ve seen it before but idk brooks and star looked way more comfortable as frosh. Big meet and they’re young. Our 157 is a tough matchup for sure because of his style and the strategy was likely well in place and well executed.Cael always gives his boys a lot of work to do January on thru to March. Brooks lost to Taylor Venz (like got worked, didn't look competitive, last second reversal brought it to 8-5)We’ve seen it before but idk brooks and star looked way more comfortable as frosh. What started as a great thread turned into a snarky shit show thanks douchebags.
I would put up $1000 right now that Cassioppi does NOT finish in the top 3.Cassioppi is Top 3 lock IMO with solid bonus potential.
Too soonEspecially @NCHawk55 and his stomach.
It might happen, but you might want to wait to bet until NCAA seeds (or at least after B10s).I would put up $1000 right now that Cassioppi does NOT finish in the top 3.
I just don't see it. Too many athletes that are a real challenge to him. I'll pick Davison and Schultz over him in March. I wouldn't rule out Pitzer, or Elam either.
... As I stated.Guilty as charged:
I believe he is the third best 285. However, the intensity that Iowa has this year this early may be unsustainable. I’m thinking they are peaking way too early… as usual.I would put up $1000 right now that Cassioppi does NOT finish in the top 3.

If possible I would have like your post 10 times!I love it when posters who seldom contribute any content to the board complain about the content of the board, like they are to be catered to or something.

I expect to be catered too. 😂😂I love it when posters who seldom contribute any content to the board complain about the content of the board, like they are to be catered to or something.
Well, you’re a “special” case. 😉I expect to be catered too. 😂😂
I respect your opinion but they look the same to me.We’ve seen it before but idk brooks and star looked way more comfortable as frosh. Big meet and they’re young. Our 157 is a tough matchup for sure because of his style and the strategy was likely well in place and well executed.

We have all watched this show many times. Our guys take a close loss and way more often than not, come back and beat that same opponent next time, perhaps never lose to them again. Yes we would rather have the young guns all win, but those losses can all be overcome.I think our kids learned a lot from Friday's match, and they'll be better off. Iowa wrestlers have elite skills at slowing down a match using hand-fighting and maintaining defensive positioning.
Eight of their starters (7 on Friday) are in their 5 or 6th year. When you're in the Iowa room that long you're going to learn the Iowa way.
Who needs TDs when there is a chance to win with a ride out in OT ... yawn 😴
Of course we are doomed. HR predicted we would come to the pack after Taylor and Ruth graduate. It's just taken a really long time.I’m concerned that we are doomed.
After watching Pitzer this past weekend I think he may be a low AA at best. He looks like he needs more weight and strength to compete with top 5. May be a year or 2 away from big things. It might happen, but you might want to wait to bet until NCAA seeds (or at least after B10s).
Cass beat Davison a few weeks ago and is 2-0 career against him, Schultz, and Elam:
Davison 7-3, 3-2
Schultz 4-1, 5-0
Elam 6-0, 4-0
Davison seems the most likely to beat him, especially with one close match and the other being the mystery PD spladle call.
Pitzer is the only other HWT with much of a chance.
Yeah, agree 100%. They look "different" in retrospect because they won in March, but in Jan/Feb they both were just potential upside with inconsistent early results until they did it.I respect your opinion but they look the same to me.
You would know better than me! Just my perception.I respect your opinion but they look the same to me.
