As a hawk fan I'm curious as to who wins this battle in the room. I enjoy watching both these guys on the mat and can't imagine it's one sided maybe I am wrong? Anyone know.

A year or so ago someone on this board reported that Zain and Nolf went at it pretty hard at practice , and for quite a long time, to the point that coaches stepped in and had them back it down. Don't know if it's true, but I can believe it.

Well, I only know of one person on this board that has an intimate knowledge of what goes on at PSU wrestling practices. THEY BOTH ARE BEATING NICO IN THE ROOM!

Man, if Flo could get these types of catch-weight matches then I'd totally sign up again! Retherford/Nolf, IMar/Nolf IV, Cox/Snyder, maybe Sorensen/Heil, even Dake/Taylor XXVIII, lol

I imagine it's close and that neither gets the best of the other consistently.

I think that this question will always fall into the same category as "Who would win in a real fight between Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee?" Endless speculation with no final answer.

Also, who wins a catfight between Tiffany and Debbie Gibson? No final answer there, either.

I feel that's the wrong attitude. There are match-ups we'd ALL pay for and if we create the market then they'd take place. Even today, I'd pay more to see Pendleton vs Askren than I would for another Mayweather fight

125: Nico vs Delgado or Gilman
149: Retherford vs Steiber
157: Nolf vs Ian Miller
184: DT vs Ruth, etc

Unless they announced the Mayweather-Baldomir rematch.;)

I agree with your premise in general, but everyone knows Bruce couldn't be beat. Otherwise I have to revise my childhood memories. THEY can't be wrong. Seriously, did you ever see someone get the better of Kato?

Thats like saying Wilt wasn't the greatest player of all time. Or Bugs Bunny isn't the greatest cartoon character ever. Or Bo Derek wasn't a 10. Rubbish. :)

Bugs Bunny over Woody Woodpecker and Papa Smurf?

Cael Sanderson versus Tom Brands, just to see if Tom really would be a bug on the windshield.

Bugs is like Cael - just about every list I've seen has him as the G.O.A.T. - although a few "experts" pick Homer Simpson. I like your mention of Woody Woodpecker (his early stuff was great). I think he's way underrated on most lists. Also, Tom and Jerry should be in anyone's top 5.

Ha, I guess I kind of saw Cael as Papa Smurf . . . leading his (fun-)loving clan of blue-and-white villagers to achievement and prosperity, guiding them safely past the evil clutches of Iowa (Gargamel) and Tom Ryan (Azrael).

Woody Woodpecker makes the list because you have to appreciate a good troublemaker.

Smurfs. Turn in your man card.

Speaking of cartoon characters ...
