Announcers are clueless. JF was upset that the USC kicker took a practice shot AFTER the timeout was called and BEFORE the snap.
Well we got them right were we want them.

I'm worn out by the 1st half. That's a crazy pace. Hope Pry and JoMo make good adjustments.
Was Franklin animated over the need to have the catch reviewed... or that the USC kicker went and fired one up for a FG practice kick after the TO was called? Wasn't like it was called at the last second.. it was called.. timeout was noted... he went and kicked a practice shot (not that it helpd).

We need to do 2 things in the 2nd half to win this game:
1) get a turnover - get back the points we gave them
2) knock Darnold down a couple of times - sacks would be great, but at least need to get his jersey dirty...get in his head a little.

This game will probably come down to how well our defense can adjust in the second half. I'm confident that our offense will keep scoring, just hopeful that our defense will clamp down.
One change that has to be made....Sickels is held on every effing play! I never thought I would say it...I wish we had Big 10 guys? And btw....where the hell is Cabinda? He's done nothing?
Our d line will start asserting itself in the second half, just need more drives on O like that last scoring drive, wear them down.

Given the way PSU has owned the 2nd Half all year, they're still in good shape. Pry will make some adjustments just like they did in the Wisconsin game - huge that PSU was able to make it to the half limiting SC's lead to 6. SC better be ready because PSU plays like an utterly different team in the 2nd Half - especially defensively.
not sure why we dont see Charles or Johnson instead of Thompkins. clearly their size would cause trouble for USC. #3 has been part of both PSU turnovers.

Trouble with contain on passing downs, slide both 90 and 94 another step to the outside of those behemoth tackles. Send somebody every play now. Sell out. Covering with 7 or 8 is a waste of time, HAVE TO GET HIM OFF HIS SPOT, THEN HIT HIM.

After the usual slow start our Offense is cooking with Gas.....or Godwin!!
Absurd there hasn't been any holding called in this game given the blatant muggings that have occurred on every SC pass, which has been 30 of the 45 offensive plays SC has run (i.e., SC has passed the ball on 75% of their offensive snaps and not a single hold).

If we're a second half team, and even Coach jokes all the time that "we hate 1st halves," then we NEED to have the ball first in the 3rd quarter!!
Keep on feeding him. Where are the big bodies of #11 and 84? We need to get 88 some more touches as well.
