If Sanders doesn't screw up the snap, Stevens probably takes a knee.No kneeling because we are trying to reduce the number of negative yardage plays that plagued Moorhead's offense?

if we needed to score he still should have caught it, as he may well have taken it to the end zoneWhatbdifference did it make, oh Mr. Football God? If he knocked it down, we would have taken a knee. If he intercepted it, he got the interception and we took a knee. How is that basic football? If we needed to score again, then yes, he should have knocked it down for better field position, but we didn’t need field position. I love guys that spout off like they are all knowing but there’s no basis in reality for their argument.
Why do that then? Put 9 back there, no motion, snap the ballIf Sanders doesn't screw up the snap, Stevens probably takes a knee.
He wouldn’t have taken a knee...it was second down and Wiscy had a timeout left. We would have had to punt and the potential for a blocked punt is very probable. I’m quite certain we would have tried to gain yards and get them to burn their last timeout. If Sanders doesn't screw up the snap, Stevens probably takes a knee.
No way was he taking a knee. They were trying to get a first down to ice the gameIf Sanders doesn't screw up the snap, Stevens probably takes a knee.
Polk and Johnson have been very disappointing. Polk really has been awful.Johnson at least has had one good year but Polk has done pretty much nothing. Our young wideouts are fantastic along with the TE.So you are saying PSU should retire those numbers?
That’s possible as well. Bottom line, when you get a chance at a turnover, you take it...it’s in a player’s nature and to second guess it is ridiculous.if we needed to score he still should have caught it, as he may well have taken it to the end zone
Wasn't it 1st down?He wouldn’t have taken a knee...it was second down and Wiscy had a timeout left. We would have had to punt and the potential for a blocked punt is very probable. I’m quite certain we would have tried to gain yards and get them to burn their last timeout.
No, Sanders ran on first down for a loss of two.Wasn't it 1st down?
A bit ironic that for all the flak the defense has received for lack of turnovers and dropped interception attempts, there's now criticism that the defense DIDN'T drop the INTThat’s possible as well. Bottom line, when you get a chance at a turnover, you take it...it’s in a player’s nature and to second guess it is ridiculous.
Huge props to the coaches. Looks like they finally decided that they have seen enough of #7. Hate to be that guy, but the LB play improved when it was 11, 36, 6.
That's what I saw.It was well covered..... Scott peeled off the angle when he saw the pass being behind the intended receiver
Expecting a letdown of epic proportions from UM?now we just need Rutgers to win today
Expecting a letdown of epic proportions from UM?
Rutgers with more yard rushing in first 2 plays than we had in game?Expecting a letdown of epic proportions from UM?
It would be something else though. Also, it would give PSU a better chance because rutgres would then in turn suffer a letdown next week.Just havin a little fun
Man, I wish we were Rutgers.Rutgers with more yard rushing in first 2 plays than we had in game?
PSU suffered an LOS a$$ kickin' last week.Rutgers with more yard rushing in first 2 plays than we had in game?
nah, RU can't complete a screen pass eitherMan, I wish we were Rutgers.
nah, RU can't complete a screen pass either
Hell yeah! rutgres is averaging 11.5 ypc vs UM.Man, I wish we were Rutgers.
For all the smoke blown up Taylor’s -ss in the beginning of the game, Sanders ran just as well (excluding the fumble). One of the bright spots on the O today.
Good Lord, that's funnyBy coincidence, those were my ex's measurements
I'm sorry to admit it, but that is funny. Why - in a run out the clock situation - do you have a formation and play call with a Chinese Fire Drill going on in backfield?
Funny. In reality he should have knocked the ball down — it was 4th down.
To the 'a W is a W' crowd... I get it. I'm very thankful for it and proud of the team, as I'm sure the rest of our fans are.. but we're trying to be realistic about the trajectory of the program (we love PSU and want them to be good for the future), not just this game. Do you keep track of the balance in your checking account or are you just excited when a check gets cashed? Perspective I guess...
Yet we hold Wisconsin to 10 points. I would say our defense played well today.POOR tackling by 5
I'm sorry to admit it, but that is funny.
Take away the first 5 plays and they get a FG....our dline was impressive.Yet we hold Wisconsin to 10 points. I would say our defense played well today.
The D held Wiscy to 269 total yards (more than 1/4 of which came on their first possession) and 10 points. Well done.Yet we hold Wisconsin to 10 points. I would say our defense played well today.
Nearly identical thing happened to Michigan State - but it was in their endzone when it happened.
