You expect your D to get you the ball back with 4.5 minutes and Ohio State getting the ball at their own 1 but...

What good is making the playoffs if we can’t beat a team we will see in the playoffs? An opportunity to lose twice in one year?
DDS get's very little pressure. Vanover has looked good against lesser teams. And most of the reportedly talented young DE's are pretty light and small. Just doesn't make it againt the best B10 teams.
The offensive coordinator changes, but the result does not. Will Franklin ever realize that he is the problem?
It has an impact on seeding.
1 - 4 get a first round pass
5 - 8 get a home game in round one
9 - 12 get an away game in round one.
Now of course you know a higher seed makes an easier path? Right?
DDS has been a disappointment....the rest of the DEs do nothing.
I don't think that's remotely true. Franklin's job, which is very secure, is to keep PSU as a relevant top 12 team. If we sneak into the top ten, it's a bonus. If we ends up in the top 5, it's a highly successful year. That's the reality of the PSU football program that hasn't been close to #1 since 1994.

We will probably never know but i would bet it all Franklin called the running plays...sadly he just cant keep his mitts off the offense.
Yeah, and this loss still gets us a 6-7 seed which is fine
I'm still not convinced playing in the Big Ten or SEC CCG is the best path

I can't wait for the fanboys to come out and say that James is hamstrung here at Penn State, and it's just not possible to win these games...you all share the same soft playground sing around a campfire mentality as to how James coaches this team. They are soft, physically, soft, mentally and underachieve with top flight talent at certain spots on this roster, it's beyond embarrassing
They know we are running and we can't get 2 yards. We know they are running and they march it all the way down the field.
This D doesn't have the talent to overcome OSU's talent. They might have held up if we scored 24+. Asking them to do everything isn't enough.
What even more stunning is we KNOW they are going run and still can’t stop them.
He needs to make the playoffs. Of course they can’t lose again as we won’t have a win over a ranked team.
But ya, likely a 1st round playoff loss, but you have to get there. He should be fired if he misses the playoffs with this schedule this year.

We were better in the second half but started too slow again and then this final defensive series is absolutely pathetic.
Our receivers are HS level and OSUs DBs are NFL level.
The gap is enormous.
Our gameplan should have been about testing their DL instead we played to their strength.
Way back in the day our top RB was a converted FB. That's what we should have done.
