Franklin’s win rate in these games is now 14.3%. It should be closer to 50%.
Yeah, and this loss still gets us a 6-7 seed which is fine
I'm still not convinced playing in the Big Ten or SEC CCG is the best path
That was before the embarrassing penalties. The taunting penalty was a killer. It reset OSU and they scored to get back in. James did not 'correct' these things like he always says.remember when we were up 10-0? Good times.
So spot onThey know we are running and we can't get 2 yards. We know they are running and they march it all the way down the field.
To be fair--if we're the 6 seed we can get to the semi's without having to play a great/elite teamWhat good is making the playoffs if we can’t beat a team we will see in the playoffs? An opportunity to lose twice in one year?
This is where running a gadget, gimmick offense with a serviceable, but annually frustrating OL, hurts. We have nothing to fall back to and rely on during in-game struggles. What is our identity? The running game is blah, our pass game is 1 player. JF hasn't had an identity, a set of reliable aspects, i.e. running or passing in seemingly ever. Yet he constantly says they self scout and try to find ways to improve. Interesting because the same issues are there every year.
remember when we were up 10-0? Good times.
And of course not.Do we have a prayer of stopping them here?
Correct, however it is par for the course for Frankli's teams. Offense is not physical. Cannot impose their will on teams with equal or better talent. CJF needs to fire Hagans. The WRs are totally ineffective. They are no threat so the teams that have athletes stop the run and lock down the PSU WRs which is easy to do. The running game looks weak. CJFF. nice guy, never gonna win a championship at PSU.Losing this game has almost no impact on this season--other than the CCG
Undisciplined teams cannot win big games. That was before the embarrassing penalties. The taunting penalty was a killer. It reset OSU and they scored to get back in. James did not 'correct' these things like he always says.
Haha. In a crazy way I thought it toolol... I had a brief moment thinking 63 - 10.
The issue was the play call on the first 3 plays
This OL is soft in big games...we can't forget to add them to the position groups that don't show up. Another hugely talented room stocked by Traut that just can't mov
More like better wide receivers and possibly coachingOSU has a better offense, better defense, better special teams, better quarterback and most importantly, better coaching.
Tough to overcome That.
That’s not the only gap. No run game no stopping the run. Oline Dline again. Good enough for most of the teams we play. Just not the good ones.Bottom line is having no WR cost us
And our recruiting isn’t giving me confidence
No one in pipeline
Shut up and enjoy your winThe joy of a 12 team playoff-sucks but doesn't truly hurt us
yes, but on 4th/1 I'd have put in 5 receivers to spread the field. Or something beyond a quick pass to Warren who everyone is probably keying on.The issue was the play call on the first 3 plays

They stink out loud. Six offensive points. SSSDY. Let the opt outs commence. LOL! Had this only been a night game …To be fair--if we're the 6 seed we can get to the semi's without having to play a great/elite team
I'll take our odds against ND and Miami/Clemson
No disagreement--and Miami's killing meyes, but on 4th/1 I'd have put in 5 receivers to spread the field. Or something beyond a quick pass to Warren who everyone is probably keying on.
