I hate to say it but belly out, give up a stalling point or two, and get to the third period and take neutral.
Davis wrestling when he wasn't supposed to, if this goes Ohio State's way it could be 12-0 going into 149
I think McCrone may have taken top. Bad coaching to go down if LL did

Still, Davis going 133 means a real shot at winning one of the weights we weren't likely to win before, and likely no bonus for anOSU.
133 - #8 Braeden Davis VS #11 Nic Bouzakis
Period 1:
Come on Braeden! Time to score! Tying up to start. Stoppage & restart. Davis shoots, Bouzakis counters & whips Davis to the mat, but Davis pops back up quickly. Bouzakis whips Davis to the mat again. Bouzakis horses Davis over again, then Davis pops back up & they're circling in neutral. Bouzakis shoots & gets a leg. Davis gets a leg too & the ref calls Neutral Danger on Davis. They keep scrambling & Bouzakis looks to be in better position, but Davis is locked on the leg, 30-sec left. Stalemate & restart. Way to hang on Braeden. I think Davis is trying to wear Bouzakis out, so he can pin him later. No score to end the 1st period. 0-0

Bouzakis takes down. He gets to his feet. Davis tries to lift him up, and then drags him back to the Resilite. Bouzakis gets back to his feet & gets the escape, 1-0. Davis has 30-sec RT. Back to the tie up. Davis drops in on a leg. Bouzakis counters & locks through the crotch. Davis keeps working & gets the TD, 3-1. Davis has a claw ride. Bouzakis rolls & then locks up a cradle. WTF!!!! Bouzakis gets a reversal, 3-3. Bouzakis takes Davis to his back again, but Davis rolls through, so no back points. 3-3. Davis +1:15 RT.
Penn State is challenging the reversal. Official review underway. Challenge lost & score is still tied at 3-3. I'm not sure what happened there. I don't know who challenged what. More delay for something. Maybe PSU is challenging now & OSU challenged before? The refs are back at the table & PSU gets to keep the brick for some reason. I'm not sure what that was all about, but Davis got a nice breather there. Maybe that's just coaching on a master level?
Period 3:
Davis takes down & gets a quick escape, 4-3. Davis has 49-sec RT. Davis drops in on a leg. He shelves it & takes Bouzakis to the mat & finishes the TD, 7-3. The ref trips & falls to the mat. Now, he's tumbling around too! Davis goes over 1-min RT & the ref gets back to his feet. Bouzakis hits a reversal, 7-5, and gets Davis bellied out. Bouzakis cuts Davis, 8-5. Bouzakis shoots, nothing. Davis shoots, but nothing. Bouzakis has a front headlock & rolls Davis over, but Davis stays squared up & keeps defending until time expires. Gutsy win by Davis. That's an ugly win, but it's still a win! Way to go Braeden!

It aged, but he was on the way to it. He needs to be smarter on bottom. That was pretty poor.
But LL is going to need to learn how to get out if he expects to be successful in college. Better here than in March. Can't avoid bottom your entire career.
