Davis got lucky there. He wrestled better in neutral and got off bottom but he gave up 2 reversals and should have given up backs. Also, was that score right? where did the 6th Bouzakis point come from?

Beau fakes a shot & they go back to the tie up. Mendez fakes a shot & they go back to the tie up. More circling & tying up until time expires. 4-0 Beau

Mendez takes down. He gets to his feet & gets a quick escape, 4-1. Beau shoots & gets a leg. Mendez locks through the crotch. They keeps working, but it's a stalemate & restart, 1:08 left. Mendez comes forward off the whistle. Mendez with a half shot, but nothing going on. Mendez shoots a double, but Beau fights him off. Mendez takes Beau out of bounds & Beau gets a stall call, restart, 32-sec left. Mendez presses forward, but Beau holds solid position. Mendez shoots & gets behind, but Beau evades the TD, like a magician. That was impressive! Beau gets hit with another stall call, point Mendez, 4-2 & that's how it ends. Great job Beau!!!

That was a hell of an almost Merkel TD by Beau
I'd have to re-watch but I think it was a bottom stall on Davis.
Some really sloppy wrestling by Luke - both at the end of the 1st period not finishing a really clean shot at the end of the period, and then giving up a cradle from bottom while up by 4 points. Just really "not smart" wrestling there. Better now then at the end of the year.
