I'm just setting this up for now ... will try to find some articles later today

Columbus (OH) AP—Papa John’s says it’s prepared extra pizza to console Coach Meyer after Penn State game.

By now, the Nittany Lions have fully immersed themselves in preparation for the Buckeyes. This includes something they might have shown Saturday had Michigan kept the score a little closer. “We had another play that Joe wanted to call,” Franklin said. “I just said, ‘I would prefer that you not.’”

My guess ... Barkley takes the snap and gives to McSorley, who throws a pass, probably over the middle as the linebackers and safeties bite to play the run. Every snap to Barkley against Michigan was a run.

I would laugh my butt off if we come out in a power running formation with a fullback and two TE’s. How about a triple option attack with Barkley, Stevens, and Sanders?

Excellent piece on the X's and O's breakdown of the PSU offense. These guys do a great job of analysis in this video pieces. It's clear the Buckeye D will have their hands full on Saturday. We did a good job limiting your offense last year, it appears that McSorley and Co are operating at an even higher level this year.....great matchup

If they put Tommy Stevens out there in that formation Defenses would have fits trying to stop it.

OSU did do a good job vs the PSU O last year but at that time it they just weren’t what they were at the end of the year or now.

This is going to be a great game, easily the biggest CFB game of the year so far. I just hope it’s a clean game and there are no injuries on either side.

That was hilarious. After, the guy stated that he went out for the mascot job just so he could do that. Always hated the Buckeye! lol
Agreed! Would love to buy that young man a beer. What the hell is "Brutus" supposed to be anyways....their mascot (rightfully) suggests that their program is nuts.

I am looking forward to our defense making Barrett look the same as they did last year in the second half. Clueless and ready to take a sack every play.

Barkely in the wildcat, Trace beside him to the right. Gesicki TE on the right with Polk and Hamilton at flankers right. JJ backside at WR.
Barkley takes the snap and they run the option. Barkley pitches the ball to McSor - it goes to Polk on the reverse.

Looks like he's improved on 10+ yards. Greater than 20 yards still a sh*tshow.

No doubt a work in progress, but I'll take zero picks all day long...also performing well under pressure. Again with no picks. The kid and his supporting cast have stepped up their game. I like where they're at, we'll find out Saturday.

He's a gamer, I'd be shocked if he didn't play well. He's going to have to for us to compete well. I don't see us shutting down the PSU offense completely, but I think our d-line will be a challenge for you, not unlike last year.

Well, gotta read one that will get your blood up, here ya go

The article was pure hatred and the comments even worse! I know every team has fans like this and I know a few OSU fans like this. They think the sun rises and sets in Columbus when we all know it happens only in State College!:) One guy even said we cheated last year because Allen jumped on the back of someone to block that fieldgoal attempt. Even when I tried to show it to him in slow motion he wouldn't admit it! Oh well....

This one really seems like two evenly matched teams, both elite and well-coached. Either team could win and it’ll be exciting to watch.

tOSU still has more depth in terms of talent and seems to be gelling, albeit against lesser competition. I think the OK debacle was just a team in shock early in the season and JT obviously had an off day. Parts of Saturday evening looked like Trace was off too. Heck, Trace seems off for parts of lots of games. Good news is how quickly he turns it around. That’s a rarity.

I’d be more confident if we had a better record in the shoe and the crowd didn’t impact our players in Iowa City. Maybe God is on our side and the rain will bottle up the crowd a bit. Here’s hoping because I see obvious differences but little separation in these teams once the crowd factors in.

How many true coin-flip games that really matter happen each year? So exciting. If I didn’t have set plans for this weekend, I’d be headed to Columbus to follow up last weekend (except this time as a visitor).

I’m excited to see how this team handles a game like this. On the road, hostile environment, all eyes on them, pressure game. When many of these young men announced they’d be back for this season, I felt they’d be the team to beat in the B1G, and every win they chalk up, they continue to prove me right. This team is special, watch what they do in CBus this Saturday...think we’ll all be happy Sunday morning.

I should’ve added to Tom’s OSU, OSU, OSU post/thread.

Really looking forward to this OSU game

Let's not go overboard. Michigan isn't that good. We barely escaped with a road win and Iowa and tOSU is much, much better than Iowa. I am not saying it is dire straights (cue the band) but I am saying it is nothing to count as a W yet.
