Just starting in Springfield, NoVA. Firsthand report from Richmond is 2-3" as of 12:45.
This has been an incredibly bad year for skiers around here. Unless you are traveling to the Tug hill area or south of Buffalo there was nothing to speak of on the mountains or trails. My daughter does Nordic skiing and this past week was the first Section V races. Kids and coaches are getting tired of just running and indoor training. They've got Sectional championships in 2 weeks and some of these kids have barely been on their skis more than twice ever!Lake Ontario freezes over once every hundred years... Lake Effect is life, and I love it. Based on the shoreline immediately to the west of me acting like a deflector - the worst lake effect stuff gets kicked about ten miles down Lake Road heading east toward Oswego NY (much more-severe than Erie/Dunkirk/Southtowns of Buffalo) ... It's downright insane that way - all the way around the eastern side of lake ontario up to Watertown NY ....

No snow here in Sarasota yet. Good thing I flew here from the snow and cold at my Ohio home to my southern abode yesterday and not today.
Thanks for the picsAldie, VA - Somewhere around 30+ inches....
Dude: You should be glad you're not in Stone Harbor or Cape May. Christ! I'm addicted to the Weather Channel at this point. Can't believe the footage of Stone Harbor. Looks like the water flowing through the center of town is at least three feet deep. High tide and big time flooding from the back bays. Really incredible. Hope those folks have sump pumps and get the power back on soon.About 10 inches in Mt Laurel NJ at 830 AM Sat.
