Here's the schedule for the B1G tourney:

Session 1 - 10 am EST, Saturday
(this is R1 and Quarters, and Wrestleback R1)

Session 2 - 6 pm EST, Saturday
(this is Semis, and Westlebacks R2 & R3)

Session 3 - noon EST, Sunday
(this is Wrestlebacks R4 & R5)

Session 4 - 3 pm EST, Sunday
(this is Finals, 3/4 matches, and 5/6 matches)

there is no TV for sessions 1, 2, and 3. Session 4 will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network

video streaming is available for sessions 1, 2, and 3, via BTN Plus. You must subscribe to access this (not a BTN subscription on your cable or DirecTV -- a BTN Plus subscription). If you want to learn about subscription options, or subscribe to BTN Plus to watch the tournament, CLICK HERE.

audio streaming is available for all sessions. Ironhead indicated that he'll be on the air for Session 1 at 9:40 am EST. I'm not sure if there will be a 20-minute pre-match show for the other 3 sessions, though the GoPSUnow site is showing the audio starting at 5:40 pm for Session 2, and 11:40 am for Session 3. (Perhaps Session 3 just rolls into Session 4, but they don't show a separate link for Session 4 audio) You can access audio for Session 1 at:

I tried to be free for the entire tournament, but was unable to work that out. So, I'm out for PBP for Session 1, I will do PBP for Session 2, I'm out for PBP for Session 3, and I'll miss the beginning of Session 4.

I'll set up a Session 1 thread, and post it either late tonight, or early Saturday morning. I'm depending on some of you to provide the PBP, commentary, etc. for each match.

Please try to keep all comments related to matches in Session 1 in the thread.

I'll set up a Session 2 thread near the start of Session 2 and will do the PBP

I'll set up a Session 3 thread on Sunday morning, and will depend on many of you to provide PBP, commentaries, etc.

Lastly, I'll need somebody else to set up a Session 4 thread on Sunday afternoon.

Please try to keep all comments related to matches in each Session in the respective Session # thread.

Also, Track Wrestling is covering the tournament. That's useful to follow matches, and they usually show the current match and the next two scheduled on a mat, so you can anticipate when PSUers are going to wrestle.

Just trying to set up a game plan, and let everyone know what I will do, and will not be around to do, in advance of the start of the B1G Tournament.

Should be a fun couple of days!

Thanks Tom

One question for you or anyone....
I just subscribed to BTN Plus for the tourney, but I cant remember how we get all 4 mats running at once, so we can keep an eye on all four.
Does anyone remember in advance.

Couple of questions for anyone that may know. Should I get the conference pass or the school pass. I'm only going monthly and I see it's 5 bucks cheaper to go school pass. With this, do I get the tournament? Also, is it easy to cancel or is it a bunch of problems like some other sites I won't name.

Question -

Will finals also be shown on BTN2GO / BTN Plus ?

Or only on the Cable TV version of BTN.

I haven't paid much attention to this, but I'm pretty sure that Indiana's web site showed it being broadcast on both

Again, I'm not the expert here, but somebody posted earlier in the week that they had done a chat with those in the know (which you can also do from the above CLICK HERE link), and was informed that you needed the conference pass for the tournament. I'm just repeating what was posted.

I just checked BTN website.

They list " BTN plus $" for all sessions except title matches.

For title matches, they list BTN TV only.

Yeah, I started worrying about going from memory, and checked the BTN site. They state this for the Championships:

This event airs live on BTN TV and BTN2Go. If you have BTN2Go, click here to watch live. Need to find BTN on your TV system? Look it up with our TV channel finder.

So the Championships are not on BTN+. Sorry for any confusion my earlier post caused.
