Football Penn State earns victory No. 5, defeating Big Ten newcomer UCLA on Saturday

A player is injured and doesn’t play as a result. The type of injury and prognosis is none of your concern. Move on and get over it. Bunch of entitled piss babies feel the need to know everything because they donate, buy tickets, etc.
No one said they need to release what the injury is

I don't envy the Bruins back-up QB right about now. D's gonna bring it on every play. Maybe UCLA will think about taking a more conservative approach so they can escape with a more respectable loss.

Saunders can't make anyone miss. Maybe that is why they tell him to just fair catch it all the time.

Is that Saunders or Tracy returning punts?

It's Tracy. Same #, darker skin, less visible tattoos.

Saunders was listed as Out on participation report. I think it's illegal for him to play today (although I don't know of the exact penalty if this occurs).

They had mentioned #3 didnt score his first TD at Beever but he was was looking forward to warnklin Longhorns...

*Come awwwwwn Tex, ya know whatttaimean,
U bout to get wrangled in ya Brett Favre jeans*

I didn't. I said why do you care if the game is called fair...hence the game is being called fair as they acknowledged and they're still complaining. Follow a thread
That's not what you said. Remember, words matter. "Why do you care if a game is called fair?" is what you wrote. That's apparently not at all what you meant. But, again, you'll refuse to admit your mistake in basic literacy (and that's not even considering your inability to distinguish an adverb and adjective).

Read the entire response--like you need to read the whole statement. I know you're inability to follow things is problematic.

I'm assuming they called it for the CB getting in front of Evans earlier in the route (if before out of the QBs hands, it's holding, after PI).

I'm not sure it was mysterious, but definitely ticky tacky for an arm punt.

Klatt's such a clown - he focused on the play 20 yards down the field from where they called the holding! Then Klatt erroneously claims that it's legal to outright hit and grab a receiver running a pattern in full sprint because the ball wasn't in the air - wrong, what the d-back did there to knock the receiver of his pattern and slow him down is not legal and is absolutely holding. Anyone remember the far more ticky-tack holding called on PSU in secondary in last year's duhO$U game that wiped out a PSU pick-6 and gave duhO$U a 1st Down in the Redzone on a 3rd-&-Forever that was a Pick-6 without the b1g clowns lame call???

That's not how English works. If you're going to spend this much time on the board, spend 99% less of that time posting and 99% more of that time thinking out what you're trying to say. Or continue being an illiterate, illogical troll. Your choice.

It's exactly how English works.

Klatt was crying about the missed call on Rojas, but what about the roughing the punter call that was missed. The block attempt did not touch the ball but hit the kicker squarely on the leg. That's roughing, not running into,....

Why isn’t that roughing the punter?

How will this affect rugby punts?

The errant snap situation that happened in the Kentucky-Mizzou game doesn’t appear to impact rugby punts. Based on the wording of the rule, players who roll out to the right or left and attempt a fairly common rugby-style punt will not lose any protection from being run into or roughed unless they move 5 yards back from where they previously were.

Here’s how the rule reads in the updated rulebook. The usage of the word “behind” makes it clear that a player can move more than 5 yards laterally and keep his protection as long as he stays within the tackle box.

“The kicker’s protection under this rule ends (a) when the kicker has had a reasonable time to regain their balance, (b) when the kicker carries or possesses the ball outside the tackle box before kicking or (c) when the kicker carries or possesses the ball more than five yards behind the kicker’s initial position at the snap from scrimmage kick formation.”

I think Tom is going to have to come out with an ultra aggressive game plan next week against miller moss. Otherwise when we are in zone, he will pick us apart.

even though we've given up three points today, their rookie quarterback has five incompletions. we just don't seem to be as disruptive as we need to be.

What I'm more concerned about is UCLA moving the ball on the ground with - who else but - Elsdon playing LB. This is no coincidence. He gets mauled and easily taken out of the play. Why is he playing?

Thanks, Ski, that's good to know.

Don't know about more aggressive, need to improve pass coverage by secondary & linebackers.

If you're incapable or unwilling to be reasonable, to the point where you eschew basic literacy and insist your gibberish is correct, you're just going to be ignored going forward. If there's disagreement, it needs to be in good faith. Instead, you've opted to be a flagrant troll.

K. Allen now at 21 carries for 78 yards. When was the last time PSU had a 20 rush game from a RB? I hope he gets a breakaway to get that average up. He's been running hard all day and really deserves a big run!

Klatt going to cry about that? Warren was nearly tackled before the ball got there.

How many throws have been longer than 5 yards? Longer than 10?

This is just taking the short stuff and hoping your QB is accurate and somebody breaks some tackles. Dink and dunk.

If we can force USC to play that game, I'd say we would be happy.
