I'm evaluating his play and being honest about where he is. Without Drew, Warren's role is diminished as we saw today. We aren't able to spread out the field vertically. We need Allar to win a title or contend for one. Beau can be Trace. He just can't beat Ohio State or a playoff team unless the defense carries us.

You are right about this. The offense wasn't the same. They only had 7 points when Drew came out. And they were losing. By the end of the game, they had 28 points, and they won. The offense was much better in the second half.

Big celebration in Bloomington today about Indiana 's first ever Bowl victory under Lee Corso. Corso was even wearing a hat celebrating the achievement. You should let him and the school know it was a pointless win that meant nothing.

In 1979 I believe...back when bowls had some meaning because there wasn't a playoff. Also for a program like Indiana mediocrity is a win.
I doubt Allar is out for the season so we won't have to debate if Pribula can win a title for us. I think for sure we can go 11-1 with Beau and a shot to go 12-0. We should make the playoff and I expect Allar is our starter for a playoff game and hopefully he is ready sooner.
Beau will be outstanding after a full week of practice with the one’s. Allar isn’t taking a chance with a bum knee. Hope we see him back this year. May not if he’s NFL bound.

This is true for almost every team
Oregon isn't contenders without Gabrile. Miami isn't without Ward. Ohio State isn't without Howard. Clemson isn't without Cade. Iowa State isn't without Becht. K-State isn't without Johnson. Bama isn't without Milroe or maybe aren't even with him. ND isn't without Leonard. Add BYU, Pitt, Indiana, LSU, Tennessee and most others if you consider them contenders as of today.
The only teams that may have a shot without their starters are Texas and A&M.
I talked about him last year (Lions Den) about him being the most accurate QB on the team and people wanted to poo poo it. Kid will be a monster QB next year. He has everything you would want in a modern college QB.
A little reading up on Beau:

- As a senior, led team that had lost 6 players to FCS schools to District 3 6A semifinals. In final seconds, completed big pass that got them to a 32 yard FG attempt that would have tied the game but it went wide left.

- Offers from PSU, Nebraska, Northwestern, West Virginia, Syracuse, Va Tech, Rutgers, among others
- Starting safety as a 9th grader
- 3-year starter at QB
- Older brother, Cade, was star QB before him at Central York and played for FCS Sacred Heart after originally playing for FCS Delaware
- 4.6 40 according to his recruiting profile
