RS Fresh season -- 19-0 in duals
RS Soph season - 11-0 in duals
RS Junior season - 14-0 in duals
RS Senior season - 11-0 in duals

Not including his redshirt season, he had 3 loses in total. They were:

Senior year: lost to Gabe Dean (Cornell) in the finals of the Scuffle
Soph year: lost to Mike Letts (Maryland) in the finals of the NLO, and lost to Nick Amuchastegui (Stanford) in R3 of NCAAs

The statistic that always stands out to me about Ruth and DT is...between the 2 in 4 years they never lost a Big Ten match...hard to fathom. Look at that the studs we have now and none of them can claim that.

You meant RS freshman year lost to Letts and Amuchastegui? From that loss to Amuchastegui to the Dean loss at the Scuffle Ed was undefeated.

Another way to look at things: Zain was not once upset. Never lost to a guy ranked lower or considered an underdog.

I can't remember the last AA-level PSU wrestler who could say that. Ed and DT can't.
