I’m a realist. If PSU and Iowa wrestled a dual it would be very close and you guys may even win. And Kerk might beat Cass. But you know a tournament is a whole different story.

For those of you who didn't look, the Iowa website indicates Eierman was "born May 2, 1006"
And he must have Dake's DNA since both are clearly getting younger, like Benjamin Button.
What was happening then, you might wonder?
In the year 1006,

He won in OT with a TD on the edge. My sense is that he went up to wrestle a guy at 197. Doesn't he normally wrestle 184? I think everyone for PSU who wrestled tonight won. MD didn't win a match.
Whatever! Iowa's whole team is riding the rankings from 2 years ago, while our guys are just starting to hit their stride. Nearly the whole team save 2 are what I would consider "under-ranked"
With the addition of Beau and Kerk I think weve flipped both weights.
What I will give Iowa kudos for and IMO the potential difference maker is bonus. We are young and on paper have a significant disadvantage to the multiple 'real' bonus machines on the Iowa squad.
Kerk sure looks to help change that advantage however.
Joe Lee is ranked what? 15th or so? What was Maranelli ranked his sophomore year? 1st or 2nd?
