I re-watched it after attending....I don't think it was. Very close, but not 2. Just my opinion as you have yours. It was 2 NF
This is pretty standard. Everything is gravy, and people are nice and gracious before a match/game of whatever it is PSU. However, the second they start losing or realizes they've lost it's "PED STATE/Pedophiles/Jerry Sandusky/Joe Knew/They shouldn't have a program/whatever"
It's the lowest common denominator. The low hanging fruit. The easy stuff. You know somebody is of low intelligence when they switch from gracious to this stuff in the course of a game/match.
I believe that CERU00 and Abro have edited their posts and should be given a pass in this case. Being man enough to change your mind is a lot more respect than we have gotten from every football board, the main stream media and even our own administration in some cases.
I agree. Abro started off the the pbp thread well enough and the Black Russians started to get the better of him. People have done far worse while under the influence...
Just wondering if anyone attending noticed the "stare down" that Gravina tried with Bo during introductions? Bo didn't bite and showed how we do our showing off and talking on the mat.
Saw that as well. Reminded me of the little stare down Zac Brunson tried on Bo with similar results.
Would it have made sense to save a "secret move" for post-season use? I'm thinking of the story, which I assume is true, of Granby High School's saving their secret move for the state tournament.

Yeah, that was a good one. Brunson doesn't really have the appearance of an intimidating guy, so it looked pretty funny when he was acting like that.
IIRC, Bo was rather amused, too, and a wry smirk escaped him at one point when Brunson's pacing and staring had carried on to an awkward** stage. Almost like Bo -- who was avoiding eye contact -- was receiving updates on the stare from his teammates on the bench. "Yeah man, he's still staring at you!" -- and he couldn't maintain his composure.
**Almost as awkward as Brunson's gratuitous 5-on-2 defense of Bo's attempt to secure positioning for an upper-body throw later in the match.
Or Rob Rohn having 3 or 4 pins all year, then hitting some variant of the cement job 4x at nationals.Would it have made sense to save a "secret move" for post-season use? I'm thinking of the story, which I assume is true, of Granby High School's saving their secret move for the state tournament.
