Remember when we woukd only be on tv once or twice a year? Typcally us vs. Northwestern on ESPNU at 9pm some ugly Wednesday in January and maybe vs. Minny or other cellar dwellar on a Sunday at Noon late in the year on ESPN 2.
The unusual game would be vs a top team like the infamous Sam Lickliter game vs Indiana from Rec Hall on ESPN proper.

We lived in Manhattan when that game occurred. My wife is not a big sports fan, but went batshit at the end like me.
The next night we were seeing an early version of Stomp off off Broadway and some women seated behind us started talking about how some basketball team got robbed of a win vs #1. My bride turned around and filled in the blanks + commiserated. She went to Rutgers, but appreciates the relative joy in the house when PSU wins!

Seems to low. This game is a toss up. I guess it is based on our terrible road track record.
Saw an on-line article today - I don't have a link - indicating head bball coaches Chris Holtman (Ohio State) and Micah Shrewsberry (PSU) are two of the leading candidates to replace Mike Brey @ ND who is retiring after this season.
I would think not at this point or not a significant upgrade but the issue is Shrews is from Indiana. That could be an X factor in all this.
Seems our only hope is for OSU to go ice cold because we can’t stop them defensively.
Lundy shooting well and has 14 pts but he missed 3 FTs. Wynter with 11.
2 fouls on Pickett & Funk is a real killer. Even though Pickett returned he can't afford to back defenders down in the paint and he has to be careful on D. I have no idea why we allowed Pickett to defend Sensebaugh.
Njie is getting rebounds taken away from him, he can't catch a pass, and he can't score from point blank range. Very frustrating.
We're lucky to be tied with Pickett only scoring 2 and Funk not scoring at all. Key to the game at this point might be to stay even for the first 7 minutes without Pickett committing his 3rd foul.

Pickett getting two quick fouls really hurt. Playing a team that lost eight straight you want to jump out quick and rattle their confidence. He sat down, they fought back, and now we have a game.
And there are only 2 guys we have to stop. Sensabaugh & Thornton. Funk, Lundy, and Wynter keep getting beat off the dribble. Picket can't afford to play tight D.

If the measure is tourney appearances then there is no comparison. I'd also imagine NIL $ would flow more freely at ND and a successful hoops coach has higher earning potential.
A negative could be the perceived higher academic standards which could impact recruiting. The national ND brand and connection to top Catholic school programs is a big advantage. If ND wanted to own Roman Catholic it probably could.
Both programs are mediocre right now. I'd go to ND in an instant if offered if I'm Shrew.

My favorite thing of the whole night…Njie gets hacked, the announcer says the official said it was a clean block then in the next sentence the announcer says Njie is getting medical attention on the sideline….I guess that’s a clean block.
