Bad coaching by Arizona, should have missed the last FT and given token pressure to make it a longer attempt.

Yea, making that FT was the worst case scenario at that point...but missing in that spot is not something you really see coaches do even though the math supports it.
At least Kansas held off the WVU charge.
Now, need Virginia to get it going after digging an early hole against Carolina.
Glad that you knew I meant to miss that free-throw. You’re right, being up one or two in that situation is negligible because the only shot they’re getting off is for three.
I'd even support missing that last FT if he made the 1st in that situation, since I'd rather they get that rebound down 2 with a couple of seconds left and no timeouts than the chance to inbound down 3...but no coach would ever do it in fear of the optics if they did lose it.
Disappointed I never put that one on to see it...been locked in on bubble games, and watched most of the end of Navy-Colgate too.
Just an insane day of games thusfar.
Even if you make the last free-throw, you absolutely cannot allow the person receiving the inbounds pass to have momentum going towards their basket, especially not catching it at the free-throw line and being able to take three dribbles to mid court.
OSU just beat Illinois, so that makes our win against them on Thursday look better.
OSU could be a dangerous team to play from here on out and in the B1G Tournament. Their problem is that all of their star power is in their freshman class. Sensabaugh and Thornton are really good players but that's about it. They could get a few more wins and help the PSU cause (NCAA Tournament) even more.
