PSU vs tOSU

Same to you tonight's been very entertaining I look forward for the battles to come

Nice Bo puts an exclamation point on it by making the staller come to him with the RT-ADV and then countered him straight to his back to take it 11-5. The only thing Myles is better than Bo at is stalling! Tell Mr. Martin the only way precious even keeps it close is if he stalls the entire match to stay away from Bo's offense.

In Macintosh match it was 6-1, the he cuts fox it becomes 6-2, then goes to 7-2. What was that point for?

Apparently Tim Johnson isn't good at math, or he doesn't understand who won the 285 bout. Johnson at least twice announced the final dual meet score as 29-9. o_O

Big 10 network: no interviews w PSU wrestlers. 2 with osu. Tomaselli wrestler of the match. Wtf? Figures
Yeah. Kind of odd that they wouldn't interview one guy from the winning team that just packed 16,000 bodies into an arena for a college wrestling match.

My dad and I saw Suriano at the NLI, he said he had never seen an atmosphere like that at the BJC and is so excited to wrestle for Penn State. In reference to my earlier post, Nick confirmed that it was in fact Gable that I saw earlier.

Same could be said for Morelli against BOJO. Martin looked pretty freakin' good to me considering Bo is the #1 guy in the country. Clearly MM is better than his current #15 ranking.

Wrestler of the match to Tomasello is completely defensible. He did just beat a 2x national finalist.

The interview selections ... that's another matter.

The guy that is ranked 4 to tomasello's 1? Where he won on a defensive scramble and did nothing else....
The most exciting match was Conaway's win undoubtedly.

Nobody should have a problem with the Tomasello selection. He's nails.

The jealousy and salt around the wrestling world towards PSU is heavy. I'm jealous of the Alabama football program, so I guess I know a little bit of how that feels.

Tim Johnson, you dope.
Getting the score wrong once was bad, twice was indefensible. You broadcast the whole match and can't process the final score?

Agree, NATO was extremely lucky to win that match - he did absolutely nothing in regards to initiating his own offense the entire match and Mega had him dead to rights on that last shot but just got his trailing foot caught in a fluke position when he was coming through. Still say NATO torquing the ankle directly up at that angle is supposed to be called immediately for PT. NATO also illegally grabed and hung onto Mega's headgear multiple times without even a freaking warning.

Agreed. His prediction is near identical to mine except bonus points - the OP's tO$U buddy has PSU winning 6 (the 4 locks I named 49, 57, 74 & 97 + splitting 25, 33, 41 & 84), but only has PSU scoring 2 bonus points total??? (I had PSU scoring 6 bonus points total). He has tO$U winning 4 (the 2 locks I named 65 & HWT + splitting 25, 33, 41, & 84) and has tO$U registering 5 bounus points (I had tO$U scoring 3 bonus points total).

Just as you say, I don't see tO$U scoring more then 3 bonus pts and PSU is going to score a lot more than +2 bonus pts imho (this guy must not have watched PSU wrestle this year - PSU has been bonusing all over the place). I'll stick with the 6-4 match advantage and 6-3 bonus point advantage both in PSU's favor for a final score of 24-15.

Gotta like that PSU was the aggressor in virtually every match (except for 285) even in losses at 125, 141, and 165.

Did Courts do anything?

From what I saw, PSU could realistically end up with 8 AAs and 5 Champions - 25, 33, 41, 49, 57, 74, 84 and 97. Heck, PSU has a punchers chance outside shot of making the podium at 65 with either wrestler imho! We'll just have to see how NN looks once he hits the mats. Has anybody ever AA'ed at every weight class? It is not beyond the realm of possibility if NN looks really good when he hits the mats.

I'm not too sure about your 141 prediction.

Great duel! Pretty much what I expected. Nico match coul have gone either way. Based on what I've seen this yet, I feel Gilman gonna take 125 this year.

Conaway great match!
Guilibon- I may be alone here but I saw a lot of positives. He took the desperation shot a the end for no reason but I like the way he looked
Zain-monster no one in his class at this weight
Nolf-another dominate performance against a kid clearly stalling
Morelli-is it me or can this kid wrestle with anyone at this weight? Problem is he has no offense. If he can develop just a little offense, this kid is AA potential at this weight. After watching both Jordan's this year, I feel this is the weakest weight class in the nation. Besides derringer no one else has any offense.
Bo-great match vs tough opponent.
Cutch-great performance
Mac-takedown clinic vs weak guy. Did what he should have
Johnson-overmatched can't wait to see Snyder/Gwiz and Snyder/Coon

Fun match!

I'm not too sure about your 141 prediction.

I was actually really impressed with Jimmy tonight - he was very, very close on a couple of those TDs. What impressed me most was Jimmy was determined to take the battle to Jordan and was very close imho - he could close the gap between now and B1Gs. MJ did not look that impressive if you ask me and wrestled scared for supposedly being the far superior wrestler - he looked content to just try and back into a win and didn't take the action to Jimmy at all.

What makes you think Gilman will beat Nico or Nato?

Just my gut. I like the most offensive guys when it comes down to it. All of them are great and I'm not taking anything away from anyone of the big 4.

That being said, I've watched almost all of Iowa and PSU matches this year and Gilman just seems stronger this year and much more ways to score than the other 3. I'd love to see Nico win it his senior year and maybe I'm just trying to use reverse physcology on myself
