I can accept that. At this point it looks to me like Nato is in the drivers seat. He has beat Dance and Nico and has won the most recent match with Gilman. At B1Gs Gilman will have to beat Nico to get a shot at Tomassleo.
This. If Gulibon could finish that TD attempt in the first period, it could be a different outcome. Again, he was in very deep and looked to be in great position, but just could not finish. It's really been a recurring problem for him. And that bad shot late in the 3rd period, with the score tied (considering the RT point) was indeed ill-advised and cost the match.
So, again, Gulibon really didn't wrestle poorly against a good opponent, but [1] he could not finish and [2] he did something not real smart at the end to lose it. Unfortunately, it's become something of the norm for him.
Lots of energy, could have blown the roof off if Nico could have pulled off the victory.
Nico had him dead to rights imo - NaTo was very fortunate as Mega simply got his foot stuck as he was clearing his legs through. It was really flukie and honestly, when NaTo torqued his ankle at the angle he did after it was stuck, PD Move should have immediately been called by all rights. In any event, NaTo did absolutely nothing offensively that would get anyone's attention during the entire match. Hate the way he wrestles - doesn't take the initiative to win, he wrestles not to lose. Mega was the sole aggressor for the last 2 periods and was not rewarded - I still like the way Mega wrestles versus a Dance or NaTo. Mega goes out and tries to dictate the match - he doesn't ballroom dance, exchange escapes and ballroom dance.....I think Mega beats NaTo next time they meet because he looks like he has the better self-directed offense - again, Mega was in deep on that late shot and had NaTo absolutely dead to rights and NaTo was lucky more than anything that Mega's ankle got caught in such a funny position - can't count on that kind of luck happening again.
