I wasn’t thinking about Franklin while watching that play, regardless of what he would have done in the situation. I generally don’t think about Franklin while watching other games.
No one? Psu fans say it all the time. Pretty much after every loss. You can do a search
Just a comment that I don’t always like his go for 2 decisions. And I think he would have in that situation. Doesn’t mean I don’t think he’s a great coach.

It's a possibility ... when you have a talented group of kids that has a rough start and continually can't get over that hump and put up W's, sometimes you lose the room ... they start thinking about themselves and next year and it can get ugly.
We should have a statue of Joe Paterno and John Cappelletti outside our stadium like Illinois has a statue of Red Grange.
Ballsy fake by Illinois--not a huge fan of the decision (Michigan's offense is garbage) but it worked

I'm sure there's some idiot here aside from Crusher that wants to fire Franklin but if you take "after a loss" go to every board today of the losing team to you'll see the same thing

I'm thrilled with the Michigan game right now--it's great for us. This is you being desperate again.
This is what Michigan should have been in 2021-2023 and what they largely were before that, ranging from ok (8-5) to a few good but not great 10-3 years and never elite. But they chose to cheat their way into elite-level success.

That was obviously unethical . The refs do not even have to hide it and it takes Illinois challenging it.

We'll see how they do against Oregon but this is a nice win against a Michigan team that really isn't good

The problem is none of those 3 teams will be ranked tomorrow. Nebraska got embarrassed today and Kansas is 2-5 (I think)
Purdue taking them to OT last week is going to be tough to overlook
I do think they're better than Mizzou, Pitt, SMU and Boise State but just don't see them moving up much until after next week if they hang tough with Oregon
Only if we beat Ohio State--I don't want us to lose to Ohio State then a bad Michigan team beats them because many here will be on suicide watch
