What happened to all the unbridled optimism when he was "Practicing"? He hasn't played all year. It looks like it's not going to happen this season.

He was practicing recently. Just been banged up all year. We could use him in the slot, but not sure he can get healthy enough to play.
I think that he exclusively fair caught punts up to the UCLA game, at which we was in street clothes and a walking boot.
He was injured all year. Looks like he tried to play early in the season, but was unsuccessful. Ended up in a boot. Why do people assume he transfers? Would he have played injured for another school? One thinks there is good opportunity for WRs here.
In my opinion he may need a fresh start somewhere else. Not sure how much eligibility he has after this year, maybe only one year. Franklin will have a talk with him at the end of the season and that will influence things.
I would like him to stay but wouldn't be shocked if he goes the portal route and would not fault him if he does. Maybe he could start for us next season or at least get a decent amount of snaps. Denmark will be in the mix, Evans, Wallace, Clifford. I am sure we will also go after a high potential portal guy. He may see all that competition and just decide to look somewhere else.
