MM vs. Jacob Smith...quick TD for MM, up 2-0. Escape and another TD, 4-1. Here comes the bow and arrow for 4 back pts. MM with an 8-1 lead. 4 more backs for a 12-1 lead.
Head to the 2nd MM on bottom. Smith with a rideout.
12-1 headed to 3rd. Cradle, pin for MM!!!

MM deystroyed Smith of WVU & pinned him. But I was surprised to see Smith ride Mac out the entire second period.
Fair weather? I'm still watching. I always watch. And yes, the team seems to be playing with an intensity that they haven't shown us before. I'm very pleased with how well McSorley has played.

No, it wasn't. What I said were facts. They were getting out coached by a staff that lost their head coach and OC. If you think the truth is insulting then that's your problem because that wasn't an insult.
I agree. I think he's wrestling for the Scuffle title and the #1 ranking. The way he's been under ranked this year I just wouldn't be totally shocked to see him win and be ranked #2.
I do think if he wins he's definitely the best at 174lbs right now.

I agree here. Ramos is no slouch. He's bumped from 165 (where he was #4) because with 'Ringer and the Jordans down there he has no shot at the title. I think he bumped because he thinks he has a better shot against the 174 field.
If Nickal can beat Ramos, not being ranked #1 would be a travesty.
I actually went and looked at the 174lbs rankings after the semis and couldn't find Ramos. I figured he either bumped from 165lbs. or cut from 184lbs. I was a little surprised when I didn't see him listed at 174lbs in the Flo rankings.
Agree completely. If Nickal wins tonight, #1. As for outgaining UGA, if Franklin and Co had not made some incredibly stupid football calls, we would have won. But hey, stats matter.
UGA also made some stupid calls. In the end they were the better team...and way more experienced. The way that game ended I kinda felt OK about it. As our OL gets restocked (we are still way undertalented there) over the next 3 years we should be back.
My advice to you is to stick to wrestling input as you're obviously clueless about football. Talent and depth and oh yes an offensive line are all somewhat important in case you haven't noticed. Great, great effort by all including the coaching staff against a substantially superior roster. Try being objective as opposed just another glass is half full whiner.
No he lost 2-1...the flow scoreboard was wrong if that's what you were watching. It had him winning 2-1 but it was wrong...Morelli will be wrestling for 5th place...
Got ya I didn't see him take many shot attempts in that 2 matches I saw him wrestle today I know wrestling a teammate is tough but in that last match I'd expect something is he the guy going forward?
Getting back to wrestling, I too was surprised that McIntosh was ridden by Smith the entire 2nd period. Something I'm sure the PSU staff will want to address.
Just wanted to thank everyone for their wrestling updates. I was away today with family obligations, and was unable to follow the wrestling action. So it was great to catch up to all of the great wrestling here on the wrestling board.

Agreed. I was following a lot of it on Flo Arena but I enjoyed the PBP here to find out how things actually went down.
