Seems as though Journey Brown is a mudder - New PIAA record

I'm curious how and why there's a time adjustment. I'm not familiar with the timing devices they use now but wouldn't the time recorded originally be accurate? Are time adjustments common nowadays?

Anyway, that's a fast time in any weather. I suppose Journey will RS unless he's much better than the others at returning kicks.

From an article at Pennlive:

'Brown’s time was initially posted as a 10.44, meaning he would be forced to share the record with Burrell. But a review of the finish line photo allowed another hundredth to be shaved off, relegating the former Olympic gold medalist to definitive runner-up status."

Pennlive LINK for those who dare.

Steel Curtain over on the Lair said Pitt has 4 incoming freshman who are faster than Brown. The Captain said Coach Pat looked at Brown and said he didn't have NFL Hall of Fame potential so Pitt didn't offer. The CAPTAIN also said Brown won't run that fast at PSU because of the Clery Act and Joe knew!!!

Camp Hill junior Zack Kuntz, a Class of 2018 verbal commit, won the Class 2A 110-meter high hurdles in 14.47 seconds. He also finished third in the 300 hurdles with a time of 39.80 and, on Friday, was seventh in the high jump.

The 6-foot-8 Kuntz is following older brothers Christian and Brandon to the Nittany Lion football team. The tight end plans to enroll early in January, so this was his last high school track meet.

“It gives me an extra kick at the end,” Kuntz said. “Take a couple hundredths off with a lean. Like a senior year, you’d call it. I’m just excited about it ... ’cause I’ll never do it again.”

Much of an athlete?

Back awhile ago when he had that 700+ yard game, he was running around 10.8 or so. I thought, man if this kid could get to 10.6 then wow. I never anticipated a 10.43. I can't wait to see this kid on the field.

If anybody is bored, gunny goes by Sudburylion over on FOS now, he's an even bigger crybaby there.

He's still 21guns on themat.com. Here is his latest "argument." By the way, the poster he's railing against is quite respectful.

Your inferiority complex is showing.

Yes, I "hate" PSU sooo much that I was cheering on Suriano, Nolf, Rutherford, Bo, etc. during the season and in the Nationals threads, and I root for DT in freestyle. Your little man fan syndrome is getting so tired.

Yeah, you DO hate PSU, and your 3 attack response proved it even further, Freud. Nothing more tired than a hater, that's for sure, unless it's a message board attacker, such as yourself.

And let's see some proof of you "cheering on" Suriano, who didn't even WRESTLE in the Nationals, jacka$$. While we're at it, show us more proof of you "cheering on" anyone from PSU. All you ever post is anti PSU hyperbole. Yeah, it's tired all right.

Just what I thought. I also thought it must be killing him not to comment on Gregg Allman's death. Maybe Goodfish9 did but I haven't seen that moniker for awhile.
That moniker was short-lived. Not sure which straw broke the camel's back on Rivals. Might have happened on the wrestling forum. He threatened several people over there. In any event, doesn't seem that the moderators are ready to welcome him back at this time.

Phil, I went over there and could have really busted his stones, especially in regard to one of his posts concerning last season's record. I couldn't do it, though. Stupid compassion. I figure, let him be.
