Norm, thanks for posting, great story. I enjoy reading about players from any team doing nice things for those less fortunate and in tragic situations. I would not denigrate them because they are not from my favorite team. That would be in poor taste.

When I opened this I expected it to be Sidney whining about something........
The only whiners where Crosby is concerned are “fans” of other teams. Opposing players and coaches, his own teammates and coaches, media, etc. — in other words, EVERYONE else — recognizes that he is an amazing talent, an incredibly hard worker, a great leader, and a tremendous ambassador for the NHL. And oh, by the way, has won just about every championship and individual honor possible. Here he is doing a very nice thing and the aforementioned whiners come out of the woodwork to put their jealousy on display.
