Sounds like Jerry Kill (former Minny head coach) interviewed for the open Rutgers OC position...the Rutgers rival board posters say this is a "Slam Dunk" hire if it happens...what are your thoughts?
My take...Kill hasn't been an offensive coordinator since very early in his career and had TWO offensive coordinators (one for running plays and one for passing plays) while at Minny...including our very own Offensive Line coach Matt Limegrower.
Also, the point of hiring the previous OC was that he would be an excellent recruiter...to my knowledge no one has ever confused Jerry Kill with being a great recruiter...Rutgers problem is their lack of talent on the roster not their offensive scheme...
I think this would be a home run/slam dunk hire for everyone in the B1G except Rutgers...get an OC that won't be a high level recruiter
