Some of may know each other. What years and dorm floors were you in at PSU?

Fr. Year Shunk 1966-67 (303, I think), nittany 40 as a soph. Both yrs dined at Pollock Union. Off campus final 2 yrs. Sparks St., South Atherton at easterly Parkway, last term at Blue Bell.

Did you know OZ or "Dirty Ed"?

Everyone did.

There were two sections like that - one on the Fiji side and one on the quad side - what house/room number range?

Hamilton split into Lower Quad and Upper Quad by the Main Lobby/Waring Dinning Hall. I was in the Upper Quad area all the way back in the rooms that faced out toward the small back parking lot - 3rd Fl. Honestly, I can't even remember the House Name or Rm #.

Looks like you came into Sigma Chi as I was leaving. Who was in your pledge class? Some of my pledge brothers you may know are Jeff H, Bill B, Dave L (i.e. Sweat), Mark P.

I was on 3rd floor Hartranft for 77-78 and 79-80. ear 78-79 I lived in Stuart. To answer 21guns, Rick "Rooster" Santorum was on 3rd floor also.

Don't believe so - there were places to either side, but The Gaff was on the second floor (had to go up the steps), but nothing above it. We used to go to different bars depending on the night, because they all had "quarter beer night" on a different night - The Saloon was one night, The Gaff, The Phyrst, etc...
Yes there were apartments above the Gaff. I lived there too - '93 & '94

Nice! What number? We were in #5 (I think). It was the one just above the Gaff with the living room window on Calder Way.

If you played any basketball on the North Halls courts, the two of us definitely bumped into each other.
I did play a bit, that and street hockey a few times. Was playing vs football players from Holmes in 1977 when a starting defensive back, Bill Crummy, sadly blew out his knee on a fast break. He unfortunately never played football again.

Apt across from bicycle shop - '92/'93 The same place the girl got electrocuted this past year.

no posters past 2000 and few since we joined the B1G. No wonder everyone is so crabby on this board, everyone is an old man. '93-'95 stewart, '96-'97 Jordan hall, 2nd floor.

is BOB would say, you're a bunch of f#ckers
Since you are calling out the "nittany Cubs" of the board...I didn't realize how much reverence one needs to show to most posters on this board as aged Lions...I wasn't even born when most of you were living the good life...PSU 2000-2004...Was lucky enough never to live in the dorms but spent enough time with some younger co-eds in South Halls walking over from Calder Commons behind where Hooters used to be.

What's more interesting is seeing who DOESN'T post. Kinda weeds out the trolls.
Yeah, I was an undergraduate at Lehigh but did my graduate work at the Hershey Medical Center. That's Penn State in case you didn't know but rather than be considered a troll for not posting in this thread , I'll let you know that I lived in the "kennels" there. Oh yeah, my wife lived in Runkle '73-'77. I hope that I'm good enough to post here.

I think you missed my point. Obviously many good posters here that did not attend Penn State. I guess it was a veiled reference to the "imposter" post from a couple weeks ago. Lesson learned.

Hey 81! Not sure, I enrolled for winter term, late 78 and was in one of the large common areas for awhile before getting promoted to a double room, which I believe was 218 in winter of '79. I remember Radio Ron and see him on PCN on occasion and of course Neal and the crazy Turk! If we were roommates I assure you I have matured, and gotten a lot wiser over the years!

i saw that, one year was enough, next year i lived in a Dr. Sun efficiency, i.e. closet, with my own rooftop balcony
I lived in a Dr. Sun apt on S.Barnard st 65/66. The upstairs apt. had the rooftop as it's balcony.

Haha. i lived in 414 Pugh mid 80's. What a dump. The best thing was, however, that Hawbaker paid our utility bill. We were on first floor and controlled the thermostat. Guess who cranked the heat all winter?

On flip side, Super Bowl Sunday 1985 the heat went out and out toilet water froze over

You were my roommate if you are Bob from Harrisburg. Hussein was my roommate until he moved to the single room 2 doors down. Radio Ron was next door and was my roommate at University Towers and DKPhi. He was my Best Man at my wedding.
