Man am I impressed with Cole. If he can get to 230ish he is going to be a major problem with his neutral offense and quickness. Both twins are incredible with re-attacks and both are great with that quick snatch single where they don’t go to a knee at all. 197 will be interesting going forward but I feel extremely confident about Cole at heavy

6 tds in the 1st period for an “undersized” true freshman heavy. Is that good?
He's not shabby but he isn't wrestling Feldman, Colhton, Yonger or Hendricks yet.

Kerk was good as well even when he was sick at NCAAs but look at him after he put his size back on.

Cassar was good as well but even better after he went on his diet.

I think with the current athleticism Cole shows I'd put him in the Dayton Pitzer area of HWT, 6-8 on the podium.

I just like Heavies that look to score like lightweights. I’m not calling a Natty for him yet. But he has the right approach and trajectory.

By next season he will be 15 pounds heavier and as the season is concluding he will be finishing his training year number 2 in the PSU room. He will be wrestling Saturday night.

Just saying.

Unless of course he transfers with everybody else to Rutgers.

Cassar weighed 228 when he won the title.

Kasper weighed 229 when he headlocked Stoll and finished 4th.

Cole will never have to face Schultz, Bastida, or Hendrickson in college. Feldman isn't that much bigger, and has not looked invincible.

BTW, here are the Intermat top-20 HWTs returning next year:
- 4 Trumble NC State
- 7 Feldman anOSU
- 12 Kueter Iowa
- 14 Pitzer Pitt
- 15 Mullen VT
- 19 Nitzel Missouri
- 20 Mora Oklahoma

Shirting:
- Cole Mirasola
- Hopke Minnesota
- Amos Wisconsin (NQ)
- Johnson Wisconsin
- Szuba Rider (NQ)
- Hill Little Rock (NQ)

Which of these guys is Cole incapable of beating next year?

Anybody have the team scores after day one?
