Oh, and that face off win that led to the 5 second goal; Sid smoked Giroux, got behind Giroux, and had the brilliant feed to Dumoulin and.......SCORE! Just keep booing him Flyers!

Slight detour: Mrs KG and I have tickets for tomorrow night at Nationwide. I can only imagine how crazy it will be coming home up 2-0. The Jackets (and Columbus) have never been there before (hockey, anyway--our soccer team does have a championship star). Told her to pack her ear plugs. We've been waiting 20 years for this.

For Giroux to be successful he had to move to wing. That alone hurts the argument that he's even in the same league as Sid or Geno. And Giroux isn't exactly young. He's 30. If he was 25 and still had time to make up the gap that would also be different.
Flyers played a near perfect game 2 and were great for the first 10 minutes in game 3...that just can't sustain that level--no one can
Sharks are very underrated IMO. Looking forward to SJ-Vegas round 2 if they both advance. Should be some great hockey

Hey scumbag. at least get the year correct. I was at the Spectrum for game 6 in '74 and the Flyers put the NHL on the map with that series. And again in '76 when they were they only franchise who kicked the Russian's ass.

Wow, Crosby averages 1.48 points/game at Wells Fargo arena, and Malkun averages 1.31 pts/game.... Most points for Sid at any road venue.

@Lion8286 out of curiousity, I wonder what the most goals a team has been outscored by in a series?

I was at the game in Pittsburgh when the Russians made the Pens look like a minor league team.
Mario Faubear (sp?) also hurt his leg in that game and was never the same player after that.

BTW, maybe the Pens should have held onto Fleury. He is flat out killing it for the Golden Knights.
