I’ve already had several coaches tell me that back door talks happen and deals made to rank their kids higher to get them at large bids. And we’ve all seen obvious ducking to protect kids seeds and also coaches trying to give/take :01 med ffs so their kids can get in the minimum amount of matches to qualify. This tells me there are coaches out there that are scum and don’t give a shit what’s best for the sport. No, they are into what’s best for them and their program.

So basically, we can rightly assume programs will be poaching and wheeling and dealing with kids against the rules. I see Iowa was brought up. It would be very easy for me to go off and call Brands a dirt bag and call them cheaters. Their fans did that to Cael for years and years now and I went through a couple a handfuls of usernames on HR defending him and his program. I’m not stooping to their level. Why? Because unlike them , I’m not going to disparage any program a/o coach without having proof or knowing for a fact exactly what is happening. I love the sport too much to do it. And also, if I did do that, I’d be a huge hypocrite that was nothing but all talk over on their board.

This reminds me. Did anyone ever see the documentary about monkeys where this occurred? I've tried to find it on the web without success. But it was showing the mating rituals of a troop of monkeys. The alpha was the only one permitted to mate with the females. There was one lesser monkey going to town with a female and every 15 seconds poking his head up above the brush to look for the alpha. He looked so human it was hilarious. Then of course he was spotted by the alpha who proceeded to beat the crap out of him. Did anyone else remember seeing this? Funniest damn thing and have been dying to make a gif out of it ever since.

No idea. No one gives you a reason, they just whack ya. Lol. I can tell you one thing though, I’ve been reading HR and my trolling was never ever as brilliant as what I’ve been witnessing there the last couple days. But honestly, I’ve never trolled, I just gave push back on the dumb things they say there and debate when I disagree with them but for some reason they were always reporting me. I dunno, maybe they don’t like my looks. Lol

Not really.

We all know about the kind of family/parental support discussed by virtually every wrestler that's interviewed. And it's pretty clear that Spencer Lee was coming to Iowa Wrestling to be The Blessed Anointed Savior, not just a guy on the team. Not shocking that his support system would come with him (not that dissimilar to the Carr and Fix family).

I have a higher reaction ratio on HR than I do on BWI. Clearly this is the tougher room.
