because they were sitting on their hands and not cheering on the Lions
seems classy. glad they joined the Big Ten.

Don't see that as a problem. They behave the same way for the same reason at their own home games.

well everyone points and laughs at their fans, even when there isn't a game
How did that work out for them?
Well, that and the flame-free ride back to the Garden StateIt was the only bright spot of their day.

I cede the debate to you. I have no comebackBut then they arrive in Piscataway......
The fans are sitting in their hands because we are playing Rutgers. It’s freaking Rutgers.
At least at the Beav there are fans to point at. When Rutgres is at home, the players point and laugh at thousands of empty red seats...

Only those that suffer from insomniaQuestion... if Pitt plays Rutgers... Does anyone come ? LOL!
Or if they are VERY thirsty. And broke.Only those that suffer from insomnia
The posters on their board loved it, so there's that.
Look out, next year is their year, just ask RutgersAl.What was funny was the 4th quarter at Rutgers last year in horrid conditions when PSU fans took over the student section because all the Rutgers students had left and the PSU fans got kicked out of that section.. Last 3 games vs Rutgers.. PSU 102 Rutgers 9 Funny!
Look out, next year is their year, just ask RutgersAl.
If the tickets are free and they give out free food and drink, I’m sure some will show up for the free food and drink.Question... if Pitt plays Rutgers... Does anyone come ? LOL!
the stadium was dead sat for the first quarter or so....
on another note...It was good to see rutgers bring their band.....all 8 of them...hahahaha
he had PSU on upset alert. He was correct for a quarter
unfortunately, and I will have to check the rules here, but my understanding is that they do not end the game after the first quarter?? they actually play FOUR quarters?? is this correct??
Gotta sort of like Rutgers Al, though.Look out, next year is their year, just ask RutgersAl.
Yes it is correct. However if you read the RU board many of their posters think it ended after the first quarter and that they get an automatic win for holding Barkley to 35 yards.
Oh well I'm sure Ash had Orange Slices for all of them afterwards. LOL.
Yea it was kind of strange game. I thought the whole pre-game felt "out of sync." I can't say exactly why just a weird
feeling.
The team much like the fans were still asleep. Honestly no matter how much the staff prepared or cautioned them about RU I don't think the players took them seriously until they got punched in the nose after the 2nd field goal.
The crowd was pretty blahhh the entire game.

Funny. They had a thread on their board about how close they are and how next year is their year to be competitive.By the time we play Rutgers next season, it will be 4 years since they have scored a TD on us. Maybe instead of pointing and laughing they should figure out how to get into the end zone.
Did you miss all the gestures Penn State players made to the Iowa fans? New flash for you but college football players do stupid things.because they were sitting on their hands and not cheering on the Lions
