What was funny was the 4th quarter at Rutgers last year in horrid conditions when PSU fans took over the student section because all the Rutgers students had left and the PSU fans got kicked out of that section.. Last 3 games vs Rutgers.. PSU 102 Rutgers 9 Funny!

Yea it was kind of strange game. I thought the whole pre-game felt "out of sync." I can't say exactly why just a weird

The team much like the fans were still asleep. Honestly no matter how much the staff prepared or cautioned them about RU I don't think the players took them seriously until they got punched in the nose after the 2nd field goal.

Let's be honest here...does anyone really think this would have been only a 29 pt. thumping had PSU not had to play murderer's row the past 3 weeks? Had PSU beaten MSU we would have laid 60 on Rutgers...as it was we played half speed for 30 minutes and still buried them.
By the time we play Rutgers next season, it will be 4 years since they have scored a TD on us. Maybe instead of pointing and laughing they should figure out how to get into the end zone.

Funny. They had a thread on their board about how close they are and how next year is their year to be competitive.
