I’m watching it tonight for the umpteenth time and I really think that this movie is fantastic on so many levels. It holds up over time and seems to get even better as time passes and the more times I watch it. There are so many great characters, superbly written lines, and the story is just well told.

I’m sure that there are some other fans of the movie out there... what are your favorite scenes?

I have heard so much about this movie and never have I actually seen it. Does it run on cable? I'd like to see it to understand the comments and references that I constantly read on this site.

My wife is not a fan of this movie, and I’m not a huge fan of costume parties, but I think it would be a hoot to have a Big Lebowski costume party. The only issue would be the limited number of female characters... but I guess women could dress up as any of the male characters.

It’s on Cinemax right now (credits rolling at the end, however). If you really, honestly haven’t seen the movie, then you are missing out. At a minimum for the pop culture references. The more you watch it, the more you pick up on and appreciate. I think it’s the finest comedy made in the last 50 years.

I can vouch for this 100%. I hadn't seen it before. then a few years ago my buddy that went to lebowskifest forced me to watch it. I can't think of another movie that has so many memorable quotes in it.

well that's like, your opinion, man

I saw it once at Red Rocks in Colorado--apparently, they show old movies there over the summer and my cousin took me there when I came to visit him. There were many moviegoers there in costume. Not quite to the level of Rocky Horror Picture Show, but it was a great time.

I saw it once at an old theater in York PA... I would have liked to see it at red rocks. Maybe I’ll check and see if there are any future showings planned.

It was a couple of summers ago. They had a list of 8 or so movies that they were playing over the summer, and the amphitheater was pretty full for our show. They started with a local band, and then a comedian did a set before it got totally dark before the movie. The screen and sound were fine--it was a really good time.

It's easy. All you have to do is drink occasions and Miller's in your pajamas! So in a way, I go to custom parties all the time.

Best movie ever! I have watched it more times than I care to admit.

"****ing amateurs. They sent us a toe and we're supposed to shit ourselves...
Oh, excuse me, dear. For your information the supreme court has roundly rejected prior restraint!"

About every 15 minutes you can find it on some old movie channel

Really? I haven't seen it since it left Netflix two years ago.
We get almost all of the premium movie channels (when I call to lower the bill they just give me another channel for free, but never lower the price) and it does seem to be on a great deal. If you have on demand, just try searching for it...
