First of all, with all the self promo Flo did... they failed from the sounds of things. Although I only timed out momentarily through the meet, I had satisfactory reception. However, the score, time, and riding time were all worthless. No excuse when they were planning and leading everyone to this.
Nick - hope nothing shows on the x-ray. Really strange how that happened. I've broken my ankle and didn't know it for years (subsequent break)... 30 years later have had to get it fused due to the constant rolling of it. Really nice TD and one good counter. I think he would have won 7-3 at least.
George - looked ok, would have liked him to take a few shots. Great job at keeping it to a major.
Jimmy - excellent match... needs to keep moving his feet. I still think he had two both times due to hooking the leg. Regardless, can't believe a fall wasn't called. Guess ref wanted shoulders to touch and not the shoulder blades. Sad.
Zain - Collica did a good job keeping Zane away and should have been hit for stalling. Zane needed a breakdown in order to ride more effectively. The stall calls were lame and inconsistent. Was anyone worried that Zain was going to lose? I wasn't.
Nolf - unbelievable.
Joseph - Looking consistent. Would have liked a TD late - mainly cause it was open. I like it when he is active on his feet. Good head of steam heading to BIGs
Mark - stall call was crazy. Should have been the other way around. If you push someone off it is on you. He picked Mark up and carried him off. Regardless, did a good job of not taking bad shots and getting stuck under. He really needs to move to open up shots. I don't like it coming down to a late takedown (recipe to be burned, (see Iowa)). I think he was taken back from the explosiveness when he was on top. Good to have BIGs for more work.
Bo - wow. Nice set-up .
Cutch - worked the Matt Brown neck and had good shots in the last period. I'm greedy (maybe not smart) but wanted to see him get off of the bottom. Good to see him not get pushed around.
NN - Wanted a fall and thought he was on his way to getting it. Nice shots. BIGs is going to be big for him.
Wrap-up - without Nick getting hurt and a seemingly proper call for Jimmy - this was a blow out.
