This is 100% my opinion.
They are just opinion and conversation. All any of us really give. Sometimes it is the problem with social media and message boards. People get so caught up in their opinion that they forget that is all any of us are giving. If we were all sitting around a big table playing cards I would guess I could get most to see my opinion even if they disagree.
Some people on here are just so conceited that they would never admit their opinion is wrong. I think you have seen enough of my posts to know I realize it is usually just my opinion on things.

Exactly. When was the last time we had a position group that was 5-6 deep of exclusively 4 and 5 star recruits? Yes we all know that a 4+ star ranking doesn't guarantee success, but it increases the odds. Getting that level of talent to commit is a job very well done, regardless of how they perform once they are here. The coaching and on field performance of existing players is also a way to monitor how Seider is doing, but it's a separate line item on his performance evaluation.
I know I’m stupid, but it amazes me that a kid’s commitment to a school as wonderful as Penn State, with so much to offer, was all about one position coach.

Not to mention having 2 of those true freshman RB's that, in a perfect season would have probably RS'd, move into starting roles and not only perform but excel at everything is f'n fantastic and anyone who cant see or understand that has another agenda. It really is that simple.

Urban is a winner, always has been. He didn't get that way by putting other teams, coaches, and players in front of his wants, wishes and needs. We will see this on draft day. If he was still all about OSU he will take Fields over Lawrence but he won't because it is all about him and the Jags now.

I respect you as a Moderator and the issues here is with a poster I put on ignore but I can tell he is the one at issue here - Marshall23 - he attacked me and several others here personally- I can take it but his juvenile attacks and name calling are really uncalled for and make this forum no fun to be a part of. Tom locked another thread where he did the same thing - the guy is a cancer and if it doesn’t matter to the people who run this board so be it - I have no idea why some people are so miserable that they need to lash out at others - I really feel sorry for them but that doesn’t make it right.
Of course I don’t recall him ever wishing someone was dead like their wife....that’s going waaayyyy too far. Posters call me names and I throw it back at them....doesn’t bother me, but I would never wish death on anyone especially a fellow PSU fan and I certainly wouldn’t invoke someone’s dead spouse into a discussion. People post opinions and understand that what other people post is just their opinion, too. Your opinions aren't so complex or cryptic that others don't understand them; it's just a matter of people not agreeing with you. Just as it's okay for you to have your views and not think you're wrong, it's okay for them, too. If you believe that the debates should not get personal and should be built around substance, I'm 100% with you. Yes, there are posters who can tolerate no criticism of coaches or players. There are also posters who take themselves very seriously and actually think they could provide useful input to D1 coaches. There are also posters who become upset at any thought different from their own. There's little that can be done about such folk other than not being one of them.

If PSU wins a NC with MY or BP as coordinators and they don't pony up to keep them, then fans should be outraged. But, till then, I don't think that is a good plan. I think that even a highly compensated coordinator must be that type of individual that is content with not pursuing a HC position. With Big 10 HC positions bringing in 5 M per year or more, you can't match that sort of salary for coordinators who have head coaching aspirations.
If MY is not just the shiny new object in resident fanboys eyes.....and indeed produces an offense of their dreams.....he is likely gone by the end of next season....2 years maximum. He is a head coach in waiting.
Seems some propose paying our HC less and assistant coaches more. Brilliant plan. That way, we get to lose the HC (and his entire staff) as he moves on to greener pastures (more money elsewhere). Makes perfect sense to me. 
Did you know his wife was dead When you wrote that? If you did, you need to take a hard look at yourself.
What you can do is put them on "ignore" so that you don't see their abrasive comments which keeps you from responding and contributing to the cat fights......
But it is great to see Hotshoe come in and call out the childish attacks and hopefully those involved either get the message or their posts get cleansed.....
I have a fairly robust "ignore list" that largely consists of those for whom "civility" is an alien concept. The rest on the list are those who are quick criticize but go into all out whiney mode when anyone dares to criticize or question their posts. There are a number of posters who fit into both categories. Most of those involved in the recent cat fight were already on "ignore."
Please. I didn't say they can't post; I just don't care to read it. I'm pretty good with opinions different from mine and spend a fair bit of time reading and listening to them. It's just that life is too short to deal with jerks anymore than absolutely necessary. If you or anyone else want to read it, God bless you, enjoy.

I don't only read posts that agree with me, and that's part of my point. I actually enjoy debates, and I'm 100% good with the discussion we're having. There are plenty of posters with opinions different than mine that I make a point to read, and there are some that I ignore who hold opinions fairly close to mine. Unfortunately, there are posters who, regardless of their views, seem to revel in snark and insult. Whatever they might contribute, even if I agree with their overall point, comes wrapped in a lot of stuff that I don't care to deal with. There are plenty of posters who can make the same points without the drama and nonsense. If others want to have cat fights, that's fine, I don't care to participate and don't care to read it.

C’mon man, I agree with you maybe 25% of the time and I don’t have you on ignore. I put people on ignore either because they’re assholes or because I simply can’t deal with their level of stupidity. Whether or not I agree with them on things isn’t a factor, by itself.
