9 at 149. There’s only like 70 teams. How did that many guys manage to miss each other. Lol.

They have 6 undefeated wrestlers if you include Teemer.

I don't know why wrestlestat removed him from the rankings. Figs is still listed even though he hasn't wrestled since getting injured on 11/17.

It comes down to whether a wrestlestat admin tags the wrestler as injured. They did with Teemer, they did not with Figueroa. No idea why.

Keep in mind that Iowa as a team is also undefeated in dual meets.

What are the odds that they will remain undefeated after Jan 31st? 😈

What does it mean when a wrestler leaves his Rudis in the center of the mat and is this tradition trivial or meaningful?

It means he's a prima donna who doesn't respect the sport or its traditions.

I really, really hope Greg beats him twice.

Of course, my guess is if he does beat him @ Big 10's, he'll put his shoes on the mat again.

We do seem poised to have a few undefeated champs this year which got me wondering how many of these PSU has had under Cael.
ZR 3
DT 1?
Nolf 1?

Doubt it..he wouldn't have enough matches for a coaches rank (I believe the number is 8) with a competition in last 30 days. Without this, he wouldn't be able to get a wildcard
Correct -- 8 matches required for a Coaches Rank.

15 required for RPI -- he won't get there.

So he needs to get 3 matches to qualify -- also, he needs to finish at .700 or better, thus he must go at least 1-2 in those 3 matches.

Bump..updated.

For any wondering why I'm keeping off guys with injury defaults as only loss? They count in NCAA eyes, and win/loss % so I count them.

As Carter says. "It's easy to go out there and get hurt, and more impressive to stay healthy and stay out of dumb positions. " I'm paraphrasing a bit because I don't remember his exact quote

Bump..week ending 1/26

Shout out to Ethan Miller having a helluva year. Haven’t seen him this year yet. Best wins are Blaze, Bianchi and Saldate
I saw him against Evans of Pitt and he won but it was close. Think he is benefiting from a weaker schedule but he is also just finding a way to win.
