Series 1 vs Islanders, Game 1 tied 2-2 after 2 periods.

Pens had a great ending to the 2nd period and had 3 or 4 great chances to take the lead. Hope they can take that momentum into the 3rd period.....

Pens have had great chances against a very tight Islanders defense. Hope they are better in OT in the playoffs than they were in the 82 game season.

Looked to me like the Pens haven't adjusted to playoff hockey as the Islanders came out early in every period and took it to the Pens. Then, Pens outplayed NYI for the rest of the period. We'll see how the next game goes.

in the meantime, Blue Jackets win after going down 3-0 in the first period. Amazing!

All along, I was giving your boys more of a chance than I think you were. I think I was afraid to acknowledge it in a post for fear of jinxing my Pens.
