Well I'm 100% confident in the person who text me the information. And knowing I was the 1st to post anything about it but now we are seeing other "reports" of it I'd say it is pretty valid.

He NEVER professes to be an eyewitness.......merely that he is posting two very different posts from Facebook. Yes.....one Iowa poster made those quotes....but another Iowa poster said pretty much the opposite. You can't see the difference between an actual eyewitness from our board and a repost of two differing posts from other's Facebook claims?? Why am I NOT SURPRISED? Seriously dude....do better. It starts with actually comprehending what you read and accurately reporting what is actually written. You have failed miserably at both. Very true. The previous incident produced many claims about what AD said and/or did. The video clearly showed that the interaction was so brief and AD's lips move for such a short time than most of the supposed and severe accusations couldn't possibly have occurred. I am not a Desanto fan or an Iowa hater. I just think facts....and not the exaggerated screamings of some people...should determine the reactions and possible punishment for what ACTUALLY occurred........not what a FB post or two claims

If “choked out” was nothing more that being grabbed by the scruff of the neck (or less) and redirected, then perhaps you can see our points about responsible reporting. Many would interpret that term in a much more violent way.

My intent wasn't to judge anyone, but to show two different posts with different "facts". The story is out there, I just wanted to show different viewpoints, not propagate Mineo rumors. But I also feel this is a bit more than a rumor, many have confirmed at least something happened.
I think most of us not only understood the content of your post but also the take-home message from it — i.e., there is contradictory hearsay flying about, so be careful with choosing what to believe.
Rashomon, DeSanto edition. I agree that it was illustrative of just how little you can trust even supposed firsthand accounts but especially when narrators are coming to the table with preconceived biases, and with DeSanto it's hard for anyone not to have one. Consequently, he'll rarely get the same benefit of the doubt afforded others in scenarios with multiple plausible interpretations. Part of me thinks it's on him to grasp that calculus by now and proceed accordingly, but I'm also extremely wary of stories like this one. The two FB takes would've been more easily understood for what they were if set off with punctuation.
