because the officiating crew headed by John O'Neill is going to be working the game in Columbus Saturday night. Yes, the same crew that three years ago, during the OSU-PSU game in Happy Valley, sustained an interception call which film showed to be an incomplete pass. Yes, the same crew that allowed a Buckeye field goal to stand although the clock had expired three or four seconds earlier.

And of course, there's the incident in Madison shortly after the scandal hit when Devon Still complained to an official that he was constantly being held by Badger OL, and the official--John O'Neill--told him to go away, that Penn State was lucky to even be playing.

Have things changed? There were a few very strange penalties called against Penn State in the Iowa game this season--officiated by the same crew--but the Lions were able to eke out a last-second victory. I suspect that Mr. O'Neill will provide some similar challenges this Saturday. Prepare yourselves.
