Landon Tengwall is confident that Allar has a Grade 1 MCL injury.

This is an important point. Ohio State D will spend quite a bit of time looking at Pribula's tendencies and scheming ways to fool him into interceptions. Very different from Wisconsin's situation. If he plays Saturday those throws over the middle become very dangerous against the kind of athletes Ohio State has in the seconday.
If Allar can play then obviously good for us. He won't be 100% of course so this is I think what to expect:

-Pribula plays more snaps/series and we pepper the game plan for Pribula packages. I trust AK will be very creative here.

-Allar will not run much meaning the "no one is open and I scramble up the middle for 8-12 yards" play we are used to seeing a few times a game probably is not there. So that is a negative, how much? Not horrible but could be key vs OSU where we need everything to go our way.

-Drew needs to be careful with his accuracy given this injury messes with his mechanics. I just hope he doesn't become real gun shy and non aggressive. Need to be smart to protect him but can't go into a shell otherwise why have him out there.

Knowles and Day will prepare for all scenarios. They will be ready for a heavy Pribula game or more where he plays maybe a third of the snaps. They will probably pressure Allar more given the limited mobility. Warren will be an even more important part of our offense to provide a reliable option for Drew when the pocket starts collapsing.

Other random thoughts/questions:

-Really would like Donkah back at tackle but not sure what his injury is.

-Is Singleton hurt or what is going on there? Not gaining a lof of yards. He seems to move okay but hard to tell maybe he has lost a step of acceleration. The TD grab vs Wisky was phenomenal. Using him as a pass catcher could be key but OSU will prepare for it so we need to catch them off guard.

-Need to figure out how to fully take advantage of the weak links on OSU's offensive line now with their injuries. Getting some pressure on Howard is important. Having DDS would obviously be great but Vilbert and Vanover are solid. Durant on stunts up the middle using his quickness could be huge for us especially attacking their third string guy.

-OSU first team safety out the first half from targeting. An opening for us, need to seize that opportunity.

Says he’s pretty sure that he’ll play vs OSU.

Had to look it up.

  • Grade 1: A grade 1 MCL tear is a mild tear in which less than 10% of fibers in your ligament are torn and your knee is still stable. You’ll likely have some tenderness and mild pain if you have a grade 1 tear.

SIAP- anyone watching the new Matlock series?

To explain, the attorney is asking for a continuance on the case and knows the hard ass judge won’t grant one. But said attorney had learned prior that the judge is a Michigan fan. So the attorney references Lloyd Car getting 2 seconds added back to the clock agains Penn State in 2005 which allows Chad Henne to throw the winning TD to Mario Manningham. 😑
Point being, all she needs is a little time added for the continuance. The judge smiles and grants it.

Where are all the Pribulla Package haters now?

From the article:

Michigan inserted another quarterback into the game on Saturday — not because of injury, or equipment malfunction. It was all part of a designed play to help jumpstart the offense.

And it worked.

This is Michigan. Last year's National Champion.

How many non-garbage time passing attempts did Beau have this year?

Again, just admit you were wrong. There are other teams that have inserted the backup QB at times for a change of pace or a small package of plays. It is successful sometimes. Sometimes not. Sometimes very successful teams have done it.

It is far from the worst thing Franklin and his staff has done.
For A PLAY
And it was "per the artilce" a trick play not part of their offense like the Beau package
It's not the worst thing they've done--it's also far from a good thing.

PRIBULA!!!!

So, when your team won that year that wasn't your goal? You never ever thought about winning a title
You're so wrong about everything--see Prime's comments I shared above. It's just Franklin's attempt to lessen expectations and not have to answer questions about big picture. And it works

Now you are blabbering about some idiotic thought in your head. Do us all a HUGE favor and just keep it to yourself.

Will Howard ALREADY running his pie hole with bulletin board material

The next year was Ewars and McCord.

Ewers was technically the year after McCord, but graduated a semester early to get enrolled and make that NIL money. Point remains, Howard wasn't on neither PSU nor OSU's radar coming out of HS and likely doesn't end up a Buckeye this year if they had not struck out on other QBs they pursued first.

Agree, many on this board have been dogging Rucci all season, he seems to playing decent, Donkah better yes, but get off Rucci guys.
Having a starter go down during a game can provide a real benefit in the development of the back-up. More minutes in a close game vs a good opponent, game pressure, etc.

Certainly have added confidence in Pribula after his performance, and the same is true of Rucci and the DL guys who got additional playing time.
