Football Latest on QB Drew Allar's injury status for Saturday's game

We lose to both OSU and Minny and we are def OUT.. we beat OSU but lose to Minny we are still in.. actually 1 loss after an OSU win and we are still
Ok… clearly this Saturdays game on so may levels.. is one of the biggest we have had in the last 10 years at PSU..
Agreed. And you'd have tOSU and Oregon in the B1G championship game assuming O wins out. That could leave tOSU, Indy and PSU all with one loss but tOSU would have beaten them all one-on-one. That, then, leaves us in a shootout versus Indy for the third spot.

Lets just beat tOSU and we don't have to worry about it.

Happy Halloween!

May everyone who turns out their lights and refuses to open the door have a heaping pile of dog poop lit on your front porch.
Thankfully we don’t have that problem. We live on top of a mountain. Our lane is about a quarter mile up through the woods. Haven’t had a trick or treater (other than friends or relatives) in the 20 years we’ve lived here. In fact we rarely get any uninvited visitors. Even the Jehovah’s Witnesses stopped coming up.

Penn St vs Ohio St Predictions

Donkoh hasn’t been able to get through games even if he starts. Just another reason to start Beau.
You don't see where your argument collapses onto itself? So Drew can only play if the guy who "can't make it through games" can definitely make it through this upcoming game? If there actually is a chronic injury issue, then it's next man up on the line, and the vest available QB (or RB or whatever) should play.

So if there was still a 4 team playoff and PSU lost this weekend, you wouldn't watch the rest of their season?

I don't think that is how it works, or how it has ever worked. Unless you are a bandwagon, fair weather fan.
He didn't say he wouldn't watch. He said the season would essentially be over which is accurate and why the old system never worked.

Guest picker for College Gameday crew?

Top 3 choices

Trump
Cael
Lara Spencer
Stephen, Bo Nickal, Joey Porter Jr and Pat Freiermuth have all been rumored--I'd be happy with any of those
I'm hopeful it's not KMK or Johnny "Bananas" Devenanzio (he's hinting that he was asked)--no actors, politicians, reality stars, etc.
Someone from the sports world.
would love to see Carl.. or frankly even Russ Rose frankly as I believe it’s the Anniversary of his women’s bball teams Historic Undefeated run ??

I agree that losing to Minnesota would be unacceptable but a lot of things are unacceptable. Like BGSU leading at half and being an onside kick away from a shot to tie. Or trailing USC 20-6 at half and needing a bad throw by Moss and a couple of close calls going our way to get into OT.

PSU should win but it's not a gimme

game of the decade.

Ohio State will almost always have the better better players on the field and more of the them. It's just the way it is. They just out recruit most everybody year in and year out. That's the difference. Not by a lot but enough to put them over the top.

I think we have a punchers chance in this one depending on whose healthy and whose not so I'm going to sit back relaxed in my seat with no great expectations and hope for the best knowing that if we come up a little short Saturday but win out the rest of the season, we're all but guaranteed a playoff spot and that's something we never had before.
As long as NIL is around.. they will “ out recruit” most.. $21 million.. of course that also comes with unrealistic expectations.. they do not win a Natty this year.. or god for I’d not make playoffs.. I just can’t see how Day survives.. $21 million..
