You're wrong. He was in for a trick play. Read your own link
Orji last year 0/0 passing--not a single attempt. He had 1 attempt the previous year
He had 11 rushes throughout the entire regular season.
I don't understand how you're claiming that's wrong. I'm allegedly a Michigan fan but you think you know how Orji was actually used lmao
From the article:

Michigan inserted another quarterback into the game on Saturday — not because of injury, or equipment malfunction. It was all part of a designed play to help jumpstart the offense.

And it worked.

This is Michigan. Last year's National Champion.

How many non-garbage time passing attempts did Beau have this year?

Again, just admit you were wrong. There are other teams that have inserted the backup QB at times for a change of pace or a small package of plays. It is successful sometimes. Sometimes not. Sometimes very successful teams have done it.

It is far from the worst thing Franklin and his staff has done.

Football Penn State opens as 4.5-point underdogs versus Ohio State

Watching the OSU-Neb replay as I type this. Buckeyes aren’t playing great, especially along the offensive line. And the QB is certainly not as dynamic as the guys they’ve had the last decade or more.
Having said that, I see a lot of the speed and athletic ability in individuals that has given PSU fits the past several meetings. Their back seven on D fly to the football and play very physical.
The first half vs USC’s speed does not inspire confidence for this week, no matter the PSU quarterback. I can also see big problems if PSU has to play a reserve at right tackle.
Hope I’m wrong, but I can see OSU winning by approx 10 in a very low scoring game.
After that, I believe PSU should win out the rest of the regular season.

There really isn't anything here I can dispute. Their defense might not seem like they are producing a bunch of stats, but teams don't score a lot on them.

A better offense (and coaching decisions) would have gotten at least 6 more points than Nebraska did (Rhule played for TDs and failed miserably, going '78 Sugar Bowl on 4 plays inside the 10), perhaps even 14. Will we have a better offense Saturday? In theory, sure. Home field advantage to boot (Nebraska was at Columbus).

This was a tough game to start with. Allar's health has made it considerably tougher even if Beau plays an excellent game.

You are often so confident that you are right, and always proven wrong. I'm thinking you don't follow college football as closely as you say you do.

If OSU had beaten Oregon

Nice work though you can remove Washington from that since all the teams play them...

I wonder if the tie breaker works by getting one team than going back to a head to head for the 2nd spot, or would they just take the top 2 via this criteria? I don't think it would matter in this case but could if there were a situation where the teams all had (say) one loss and the earlier tie breaker might be different head to head.

That's right. Going to blame my sick infant for that oversight.

The earlier tiebreakers can't come into play if everyone involved has no losses. You could get the 1 loss scenario this season but for 4 teams without a lot of mental gymnastics.

Oregon, OSU, PSU, Indiana all 11-1.

OSU wins out, defeating both PSU and Ind. Oregon drops a random game.

I assume that puts Oregon and OSU in since Oregon has the H2H over OSU and OSU has the H2H over the other remaining teams... but there are other ways to interpret it.

LOL--Orji didn't attempt a pass last year
He had 11 carries all year--most in blowout

Landon Tengwall is confident that Allar has a Grade 1 MCL injury.

This is an important point. Ohio State D will spend quite a bit of time looking at Pribula's tendencies and scheming ways to fool him into interceptions. Very different from Wisconsin's situation. If he plays Saturday those throws over the middle become very dangerous against the kind of athletes Ohio State has in the seconday.
Hey, maybe Beau starts and we have an "Allar package" when behind the chains.

PRIBULA!!!!

Just remember, as he stated ... he's a Big Ten fan ... and if you aren't hyping up, supporting and cheering for other Big Ten teams ... well then, you don't know football. Which explains why, as a self-proclaimed Big Ten fan, he shits all over almost every Big Ten team.

He's so desperate for attention, that his trolling attempts are attacking each other now.
And yet, you give her the attention she so desperately wants. If everyone would just ignore her, threads would be a lot more enjoyable for those of us who have ignored her for years.

Wisconsin's defense didn't prepare for Beau so he had a slight advantage. The running game ran better because the Wisconsin defenders now, suddenly, had to cover the QB running the ball whereas with Allar, they don't care as much.

This is an important point. Ohio State D will spend quite a bit of time looking at Pribula's tendencies and scheming ways to fool him into interceptions. Very different from Wisconsin's situation. If he plays Saturday those throws over the middle into tiny windows become very dangerous against the kind of athletes Ohio State has in the secondary. It's hard to calculate safeties and linebackers who run faster, jump higher and have great eye-hand coordination.

I did really like how Pribula played once he got into the flow of the game. Those last two drives were both superb -- and yes the Wisconsin D was tired, so that was a factor. But Beau was making decisions very quickly. He has a very quick release and that makes up a bit for the lack of a cannon arm. He's quick as a runner -- he gets to speed very fast. It was really impressive. Pretty amazing to see Allar play his best football one week, and then the following week we see Pribula play his best football. Nice turn of events.
